  1. No clue who it is, but nice job on the pattern.
  2. One of those pictures you can sit a stare at and daydream. Great and great selection of wood to use.
  3. Well cut. It is a neat pattern.
  4. They certainly made me smile, thanks for that.
  5. I would have know who that was with or without the hat. I agree with all, you are doing great.
  6. Oh, ya and I have the Grizz to do one of these days. So many neat pictures, so little time! @Jronn65, finescrollsaw.com, one of my favorite places to visit and get patterns from. Pedro is so nice to deal with and it is really fun to see what others, from all over the world have done with his patterns.
  7. So glad to have you join us. I look forward to seeing some of your work.
  8. Really a nice job. Love the wood. I was given some reclaimed Oak flooring once. I used it for all kinds of projects. I didn't use it for scrolling because scrolling wasn't my that back then. Had to watch for nails be they only missed a few.
  9. Those are very well done.
  10. That is a very nice piece of work you did. Cutting that size would definitely be a challenge. I have two things I cut early on in my scrolling that I look back on and think if I did those I can do the whatever one I may be currently thinking of doing. These were not difficult because of size, but because of how delicate they were. And I had to learn spiral blades to do them. The Viking took two tries for me.
  11. Here is the problem, in my opinion, what is law and right in the U.S. is not the same in other countries, We have members here from many parts the the world.... I have friends in other parts of the world that, send me things that in America, would not be acceptable do to our copy right laws (patterns for one) this happens often. What to do??? If I may add, it must be very difficult to an owner of a forum to police what is posted. Words use or not in America are not offensive in other parts of the world...... and visa versa.
  12. Hummm, easy for me, I'm, so far, not smart enough to make a pattern of anything so all are safe.
  13. Dick, I've been thinking on this and I'm wondering is a person could make the required angle using a bench to belt sander? At least on the short bottom sections.
  14. That is a great pattern, Dick! You are way ahead of me. I have been playing with pattern making and do I ever struggle. I just do not seem to have the eye to pick it up. I think face portraits must be the hardest because the slightest miss-mark changes the whole face expression.. Cute little fellow and you caught it. Well done.
  15. I don't own either anymore. I did have a DeWalt at one time. You might find so good info here: Some reviews here:
  16. Newfie, have you tried Bear Woods? The are in Canada: https://www.woodparts.ca/pegas-scroll-saw-blades.html
  17. She will be honored to receive those. Wonderful cuttings, Dave. Now a great pattern maker also. You are a very talented man.
  18. Be interesting to try to put that bowl together. Each layer needs to be off set so there is something to glue to. You could keep rotating each layer of alternate the direction of each one? Hope someone does it to see how it works.
  19. We all have made the same or similar mistakes and I still just keep making more. Part of the trip through life. Smile and move on.
  20. Another thing I found, and maybe it is just my imagination, but in the smaller sizes (#2/0 through #3), I have not used anything larger in the MG blades, the MG blades seem more flexible than the FD. So what I use in a #2/0 size in a FD blade, I use a #0 in the MG blade. Anyone else notice this or think they notice this?
  21. Those are really nice.
  22. You did a super job cutting that pattern. It really has some difficult areas.
  23. I've always heard "they have some crazy looking women there......" the best on your move.
  24. I can't wait to see it!
