  1. Yep, He is a fighter too. Love to watch him. Great job on the portrait.
  2. Great looking sign.
  3. Great looking.
  4. Very nice looking. I can see why people like them.
  5. When I buy a sheet I ask the vendor to cut it in three equal pieces. That way it is easier to carry home, and the pieces are small enough I can saw the sizes I need on the table saw. If I have a sheet that is too big to handle on the table saw I use a circular saw and a straight edge.
  6. I did similar to DW only I used some 1/8" Masonite that I had. I screwed to right to the existing top with the existing screws. It worked very, well, lasted over a year and recently was getting beat up enough I took it off. I intend to replace it soon. Another advantage was I was able to increase the size of the table top space a little all the way around.
  7. Very nice piece. I always enjoy seeing your work.
  8. Move over Dad!! That is awesome. You had budget a second saw!! Congratulations to her.
  9. Great job. Looks mighty nice hanging on some fisherman's wall.
  10. Nice looking and will look even nicer hanging over that radio.
  11. That is a beautiful shaver. I have a shaver, soap cup and brush. All three turned out of soap stone. I use the shaver every time I shave. I do not use the brush and soap much just because it is more convenient to use the foam out of a can.

Love those. Nice work. I like to use a 3/0 spiral blade for veining. Gives just a little wide kerf. Also very good practice with a spiral where staying on the like is not quite so critical.
  13. Very nice. Great pattern by Dick and great cutting by you.
  14. What a beautiful puzzle. Some awesome work
  15. Glad to have you sign in. Look forward to seeing your work.
  16. The deer pattern is a Mike Williams pattern called "A Time to Rest". Thanks for the nice comment. The Lonesome Dove pattern is from Charles Dearing. Site is woodenvisions.com it is pattern #623 I'm not sure who the pattern makers for those are. I found both on Pinterest I believe. I will look around and if I can find them again I will message you. They are not intended to sell because I couldn't identify the original source.
  17. I have one like Heppnerguy showed and I do use it on fret work. I have not had anything break yet. Like munzieb states, light pressure. Steve Good convinced me in one of his videos on the subject. I also "scrape" around fuzzy edges in fret work with a X-acto knife to remove fuzzes. Learned that from a Charles Dearing video.
  18. No doubt about that being Mick! Nice work.
  19. Well done.
  20. Really like those. Nice work.
  21. I would think some with matching pendant type necklace might work also. Hope it goes well.
  22. Have not been here sense early November, I think, and I prefer not to go into why, but things are correcting themselves and I hope to get back in the fray. I have been watching and my oh my what great things you all have all been doing. It has really kept me inspired. I have not given up scrolling, not by a long shot. I did get side tracked with the lathe for a while, but also have sat at the saw a lot. These are the scrolling things I have done sense November. This is two the "Tree of Life" I did for my daughter, at her request. There are two of them one in Black Maple and one in BB, Sorry but I removed the picture. I had the pattern a long time but cannot find the source now so not sure I should have posted it. Then I did this one as a gift to a friend that bought a hunting cabin. I thought it would look good on a wall in the cabin, One I did for my wall. Not sure who the designer is, I saw the pattern on Pinterest. I loved it and thought it was perfect for the last piece of Red Wood burl I had. Sorry but I removed the picture. I had the pattern a long time but cannot find the source now so not sure I should have posted it. This is a picture I did before November, but I framed it after. It is very popular, and I gave it to my Nephew for him to give to a friend of his. I wanted to give it for my Nephew's friend because the friend is restoring a Jeep his uncle drove around the world. My nephew is helping him. It is in the Genesis Book of World Records. People who love "Lonesome Dove" will understand the frame. And this is a box I just finished. I made it for my Daughter-in-Law. It is the Hamsa Box pattern featured in the latest issue of Scrollsaw Woodworking, by Carole Rothman. I hope my Daughter-in-Law enjoys it. She is from Cambodia, Buddhist, and it should have special meaning to her. As you see I have been busy and it is going to get more so. I have three requests for the Capt Call and Gus picture that I have ready to start cutting as soon as I finish a picture I started a year ago and have really been struggling with. I have promised myself to finish it before starting anything new. Also all package and ready for the scroll saw is a Charles Dearing picture of Willie Nelson (more for me than any one else), and one of Johnny Cash for my Nephew.
