  1. You are on a roll, crazy cool!
  2. Francisco, the one suggestion I would make is to try to learn to become a bottom feeder. Then the only time you have to worry about the bottom holes is when you change blades. At least it is worth a try.
  3. Still, a good question. There are times I have thought something would look good if I could paint the edges, but I have never figured out how to accomplish it. I do not have a steady enough hand to do it by hand. May I could accomplish the outside edges, but not the interior cuts.
  4. Once again very outstanding pieces of work. I like the detailed one best, but it really doesn't matter, both are excellent.
  5. Very well done.
  6. Welcome to the forum. We are very glad to have you join us. As you can see there are lots of opinions on this subject. My suggestion would be to try the different ways and decide which works the best for you.
  7. That is really nice.
  8. Very well done!
  9. Great cuttings.
  10. That is some smooth cutting. You really did a fine job. I like the way you mounted it on that backing also.
  11. Looks to me like it really came out nice. You are one busy man lately!
  12. Oh yes, I think that is my favorite intarsia pattern, The one I would most like to do if I ever try intarsia again. You really did a nice job of it.
  13. That is a great piece. Work well done!
  14. Beautiful, well done.
  15. Puts me in a Christmas-y mood for sure. Beautiful ornaments and wonder generosity.
  16. Nice cuttings. I also prefer the one on the right, but both are very well done.
  17. Great job cutting. Pretty wild pattern.
  18. I use Flying Dutchman, but the very best blades are the ones that work best for you. Try many and decide.
  19. Sure fits. Great job. I always felt sorry for my Mom. She raised 3 boys (four including my Dad). We were not easy.....
  20. That is might fine work. You are off to a great start.
  21. Very nicely done.
  22. You work is always so perfect. That is a great job.
  23. Really a very nice bowl. I have to give those a try. My wife keeps after me to make some bowls on the lathe. I wore out on the lathe maybe someday I will get back to it, but not now. Besides a good friend of ours makes her bowls, I just have to supply him with some wood. He is far better on the lathe than I ever was. First show he entered he won best in show.
  24. Thank you all for you comments. Beautiful wood, but it challenged me. I right after I started I decided to paint the back with thinned epoxy to help hold it together. It seemed to really help. I am sure it is or was in the library. I downloaded in 2013. If it is not there maybe Dan will put it in the library. I know he had to put the picture he did of it back in his library. It was missing.
