Very nice cutting, but I will defer on the craft shop, I have never done one. I will say I did the Sullyscroller Nativity scene in the summer, it is the only piece that I have done that someone has actually offered to buy from me. She is a minister and said the scene was good all times of the year and it is now hanging in her church, least that is what she tells me and I have to believe a minister... I'm a real softie, I gave it to her, she is a heck of a nice lady.

I have casters under my Ex saw, but it is on a home made stand/cabinet. It works fine, two of the wheels lock. I had a table saw once that I had to move often. I mounted to wagon wheels on the back of the stand and had pipe mounted on the sides that I could slip smaller pipes into and use then as handles to lift the front and move the saw like a wheelbarrow. It worked great for years. Fact I have given the saw to my son-in-law and it is still set up that way.

For those of you that use pallet wood

On the internet there are pictures of all kinds of pallet pry bars, which would be very easy to make or there are commercial ones that work great. If a person was using a lot of pallet wood, it would be well worth making one or purchasing one. What Jerry shows is a good idea and looks like it will work, but awkward and slow. Okay for the occasional breakdown. I think debinz makes a very good point also. -

That certainly is a great pattern and well done by Rolf. I have it next in the cue after I finish my current project. Darn painting the interior of my house is really interfering with my scrolling....

If you go to Pinterest.com and search "Reindeer wine bottle holder" you will see many versions of it along with others like a penguin, elephant, dog etc. No patterns though, you would have to design your own.

I cut deer antler with no problem. Use the same blades I use cutting wood. I do not mind the smell, use to it from the pen making days. I was just cutting a figure out of a cross section of the antler.

I would take it back and want a replacement or my money back. I'd prefer my money back to put towards the Ex.

That is a great job. If it was me, I'd do a coat or two of poly. Make it easier to get dust off.

Charley, Troy states that this happens almost every time on his saw. Is there something worn or out of wack that would cause the motor to stop at bottom dead center more often than not? Or, something else worn that make it difficult to raise the arm that may not be related to the motor stopping at BDC more often than not.
