  1. Thank you all. A frame will come, I did get the Raccoon framed and am delivering it to my brother today. Frames are getting more fun to make as I get practice. Just wish I had a better imagenation. This prostpector does need some old barn wood or something. Scrolling Steve, your avatar looks like it could be a Charles Dearing pattern. I was hoping you had more posted in the gallery, but didn't find it.
  2. Well done. That will bring on some smiles.
  3. I'm always impressed with your work. Including the painting on the name you picture here. I'd love to be able to paint.
  4. I'm going to give it a go soon. I've been collecting wood for a pattern I have and as soon as I get some of this scrolling out of my system I on it. Don't expect much.
  5. Congrats on the success. Was a great looking display, success does not surprise me.
  6. Took this one off the saw this afternoon. Pattern by Charles Dearing pattern #W-8. Stacked 2 pieces of 1/8" BB and a piece of 3/16" throw away plywood. Used 3/0 FD spiral blades. This one only took me around 12 hours. Seem like the patterns I pick to cut are old old men with wrinkled faces. Well except for the raccoon. I wonder way this is? Self portraits??
  7. Job very well done!
  8. Nice scrolling, Hans. I always enjoy seeing your work. Very inspiring.
  9. That is a very neat piece of art.

  11. Very nicely done. Do you make your own frames?
  12. WOW! You did a super job on those. Of course I the USMC one best...
  13. I really like that one. Nicely done and nice pattern.
  14. You are such a busy man. Keeps you young.
  15. You just go go go! They all look great. Keep pumping them out!

Beautiful picture and very well cut, finished and framed. Kevin, angle wings don't flutter, that is fairy wings!
  19. Great picture Mr. Fish. I will be evenually doing that pattern to add to my Native American pictures. I have never had a void in real Baltic Birch plywood. I have hsd them in the Birch plywood that I have gottern from the big box stores.
  20. I can't for the life of me understand why you would not show those. Very nice work.
  21. Where I am the big box stores do not carry Baltic Birch, they carry birch plywood. From my experience, what they carry is not a good as Baltic Birch, theirs can have void in it. I guess if you can work around the voids it might work okay.
  22. Oh well... i've done things similar.
  23. Thanks again for all the nice comments. He still has his pattern sale on at $3 each, minimum of 10, until Nov. 1. I just put on my third order today. I will be set for a long long time, along with all the great pattern I have gotten here.
  24. I have never tried compound cutting. They look great, I have got to give it a try.
  25. Some awesome projects. That carousel horse is expecially fine.
