  1. Looks very nice. Are those used as night lights? Looks great.
  2. Thank you all for the kind words. It was fun to do, and yep, Marg, I took lots of breaks. The 26 hours was over a 5 day period. I made myself a log sheet in OpenOffice and kept it by the saw so I could keep track of the time I spent. It kinda added to the fun.
  3. I like those. Great work.
  4. Great job! I especially like how it looks on the holly leaves.
  5. Just completed this yesterday, took me 26 hours sitting at the saw. I used 3/0 FD spiral blades. Stacked 2 pieces of 1/8' BB. Pattern by Charles Dearing.
  6. Looks great!
  7. Chip board is made of wood. I like wood. Maybe some more than others, but still.....
  8. AWESOME job!!
  9. Very beautiful. How long that take you?
  10. Great fix, but you are lucky to have a friend with a machine shop. They are rare in my area, and the ones we have are very expensive. Every time I have needed some machining done, it would have cost me more than the project was worth, or I have been told that my project was not worth their time. Course what your friend did may be something a person with some taps and dies and a drill press could do themselves. I haven't had the problem yet, but I will keep this in mind so if I do, it is a fix I could try.
  11. Nice work! I really like the nativity. Would like to try cutting one myself one of these days.
  12. Okay, okay, up until now I hadn't known anyone the tried one that didn't like it~
  13. Roly, I was just curious. I have never read where some one that had one, or tried one didn't really like it. Once I had one, I wouldn't be without it. I scrolled for quite a while without one, but really perfer having one.
  14. Roly, I'm curious have you ever used a foot switch?
  15. You did a great job of it. Where does the pattern for the boxes come from?
  16. Ha, I really like it! Come on you know you do too and will be making more.
  17. Great job!
  18. I can sit at my scroll saw, and I have a foot pedal. I love it, except sometimes I put my foot on the foot pedal when I don't intend to. I have not hurt anything yet, but it can scare the begezzez out of me. I have wondered if a knee pedal might not be better. I may just try that one of these days.
  19. Great work, as yours always is. I too really like the smiley face. Kragax, your avatar scares me!
  20. Nice work, DW. I really like the use of the endgrain on rgw little boxes. I'd like to try that on a bigger scale some time, I thinkit would make an interesting looking collect all box sitting on a dresser.
  21. I must have very poor eyes, because I fail to find fault with you work. That is a beautiful piece of art. I really want to try my hand at intarsia, but it intimidates me. I have some patterns i want to have a go at if I ever get brave enough.
  22. Okay! Very nice looking, fact it looks like it had very little use, if any. Is it varible speed? You win, score of the year in my opinion!
  23. I'm pretty sure those are going to be very special to Mr Anderson and Mrs Ralph. Very nice cutting and finishing.
  24. Very nice looking box.
  25. He will love that. Very thoughtful and nice work on your part. The trousers suck!
