  2. Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas.
  3. I have cut several item in basswood. I sprayed them with Deft lacquer after cutting.
  4. Beautiful picture, beautiful wood, super job all the way around.
  5. Like'n that. Wish I had had that when my Father -in-law was alive and working. He was a lineman. Eventually worked on those great big high voltage lines way up in the sky... I've seen pictures where he was just a speck up the. Not for me..
  6. The barn is MonkeyPod from Ocooch Hardwoods. It us usually very pretty and easy to cut. Kinda like a brown mahogany instead of reddish. The figures are maple. The pattern calls for the back piece of the barn to be cut open just like the front, but I thought not cutting it all out would give a background to show off the figurines better,
  7. Turned out great to my eyes... I love just a splash of color in just the right place.. Great job.
  8. Not hard to down size the pattern some.
  9. Several years ago, I decided I wanted to scroll a different Nativity each year. Well this is the one for this year.. the third I have completed... I'm a little behind. This is a Sheila Landry Pattern. Called "Filigree Nativity Set". It's a little different
  10. some really good stuff. I really like the little Nativity ornaments.
  11. Doesn't that make you feel calm to look at it? Very nice.
  12. THOSE ARE GREAT!
  13. If I was close, I'd take it. Clean it up, add the pegas clamps, which means the tension release would be at the front. I'd use it to back up my current saw and it if scrolling something, the takes different blades, switch back and forth between the two saws. Not sure how you change speeds, looks like there is a cover over the belt.. But a lot of people get along just fine with a single speed scroll saw.
  14. Well done.
  15. I agree that is very nice.
  16. How did I miss commenting on this? That is a very well done beautiful picture.
  17. Look'n good!
  18. Go ahead, Dick. translate, it is a very good thing.
  19. Clever and cute. Nice job.. Got me a pretty good airbrush, for painting this type of project....Hope I finish one, one of these days that I can try it out on. Just don't seem to accomplish much in the old shop anymore.
  20. WOW! that is a beauty... Looks like you have a talent for turning also.
  21. Very nice. May have to look that pattern up.
  22. Well done, Rich!
  23. Don't get much time for scrolling like I use to. I really cannot sit for long periods at the scroll saw like I use to. Scroll a little while and got to get up and move around. My body get all cramped up. And my wife can not do all she use to so I am the care taker and house cleaner... She is getting even for all the years she took care of me and the kids and kept the house up, did the cooking...I do not know how she did it and she also worked a full time job. And I got to say, I am not as good at it as she was. God bless her.
  24. Nice cutting, Dick. I love the scenes like that.
