  1. Dave, another of you consistent inpeccable craftsmanship projects. Beautiful!
  2. Unfortunately, or really fortunately in the category "resources" in the blue line at the top of the forums, there is a drop down titled "how to Articles" that has most the answers and tips. The unfortunate part is new members do not know to look there. Lots of info there for beginners. I wish there was a method to tell the new members.
  3. I make my own and enjoy doing it. Part of the build.
  4. With the teeth, short front legs, I think that could be a rocking Raptor. Kids would love that.
  5. Thanks @meflick. You do not disappoint. I do not see a Harbinger meaning in that design, but it must be there. I understood the "Future Man". Hope you took my post above in a positive way. I really appreciate your talent for finding information...And that you take the time to do it.
  6. Hu, just email you to see if you are doing okay... Should have read Scrollsaw Village first! This is good news.. Take your time, follow doctors orders... Glad you are doing as well as can be expected.
  7. Just got to say, I am a little disappointed. I really thought @meflick would have info on what this pattern is.. She usually researches the questions out an comes up with the answer... Been waiting... I tried, but got nothing.. she usually succeeds. Maybe too busy right now.
  8. Very nice looking pieces. I wonder, dose anyone have a Christmas tree decorated entirely with only ornaments they have scrolled? I think it would be a fun tree, however, don't think my wife would go along with it. Maybe someday we will have two trees.
  9. Could you startch it? Or put a wire in it? Just thunking here
  10. I ordered some new blades to try on 3D cutting. I ordered Flying Dutchman FD-LX5 XLblades and the Pegas #5 Skip. I have only tried the Dutchman on once, it did a good job, but I have not tried the Pegas on yet.
  11. Super job, Denny, very clean cutting.. I have scene that pattern, or one like it, before and have wanted to cut it, but I do not know anyone that is getting married, truth be told I know no one... One of the down sides of being a hermit.
  12. Well done!
  13. Very well done.. The frame is awesome also. When I started scrolling portraits, started a collection of Native American Chiefs. May have to get back to that one of these days. Still have some unused patterns in my collection.
  14. yep. well done. So does that pattern have a meaning? I like it.
  15. Welcome to the forum. Hope to get to know you better.
  16. Thought of what might help. There should be a "Thanks for Joining and site information" message sent automatically as soon as a new member sighs up. The information would include what is available in on the site and how to find it, like the forums, the resources and the university. Might save some heartache for new people. Just a thought. We all know Travis is not busy enough!
  17. I have always had great service from them..Not only buying their products but also response to any question I may ask them.
  18. I suggest that newer members take advantage of out "Resouces" center here on the forum.. Give info of where to buy patterns, blades and and info on saws. Great resouce. You will not see "Lesley's" listed there.
  19. I have ordered patterns from her several times. Never had a problem at all.
  20. I had one of those trusty "Red Riders" when I was a young cowboy
  21. I think gift cards are great and so do our recipients. only getting to see our Grand kids about once a year, and no young people around, we have no idea what to buy. Saves us a lot of stress and the youngsters are able to get something they will use.
  22. Absolutely Beautiful!! Super job scrolling and a beautiful piece of wood for it. Scrolling masterpiece!
  23. Great job Bernd, late 40's earily 50's my favorite also. Good thoughts a prays coming your way. Keep us posted on your recovery.
  24. Is the new version as good as that one was?
  25. Because most my pictures are relatively small, under 16" wide, I use saw tooth mostly.
