  1. I will do as suggested above if you want me to email Wolfgang. He was interested in what you had to say. I just need your email address. He really has been great to me when I had my Hegner saw. I'm telling you, it's just this fiasco that we are all going through right now. None of us have ever lived through anything like it.
  2. Good luck with the o-rings. I tried to find a source. No problem if I wanted 1000 of them. Really hard to find them on a onsy-twosy basis.
  3. "No mess" equates to "no work".
  4. Wow! Your shop is huge with that extra foot. Mine is 9 x 13. What will you do with all that space? All kidding aside, nice digs!
  5. Very unique idea. I too look forward to seeing more pics of the finished bowl. I'd also like to hear the process to create it. So far, it's beautiful.
  6. All this talking about bandsaws got me to cleaning mine up and giving it a tune up. It works great now. In fact I used it yesterday and again today. Not resawing as it is under powered. I think it has a 1/2 hp motor but it might be more. I will try to use it more now. Thanks guys for pushing me forward.
  7. I think I like the wood for leash hangers but the metal hooks for key hangers.
  8. I must be missing something with top feeding. My first saw was a Dewalt and I learned to bottom feed with it. Now I have 2 Excalburs and still bottom feed. I guess I will have to force myself to top feed for a while to see if I can get used to it.
  9. Keep it original and have your motor repaired.
  10. Keep in mind that we are living in strange times. I'll be very happy when/if things normalize.
  11. I emailed them 2 days ago using gmail. I got a reply in one day. Give it another try that way. Wolfgang is a good guy and he has been very helpful to many of us.
  12. You do know that when you get the "low toner" message you can do a reset and get more out of the cartridge before tossing it. Do a Youtube on your model printer. It's really easy.
  13. I watched this yesterday and even posted it on FB for all to see. I have a friend in Tennessee who was very familiar with this man. She spoke highly of him.
  14. What more can I say but....AMEN!
  15. Yeah, I saw that too. My printer is discontinued. Someone is trying to make a hefty profit off of his. I found my receipt. I paid $230 plus tax. It's a great printer.
  16. Did you use this email address? If not give it a try. [email protected]
  17. After I posted my soapbox issue, I went to Amazon to see what is available. They are not on sale right now. But also, if you are only going to print patterns or receipts, a monochrome b/w one at $100 ain't bad. The cartridges never go bad from what I have been told. You might have to shake them every once in a while. I haven't had to do that. I got the low ink message a couple of time on the black one but there is a way to "fool" the printer into thinking it has a new cartridge. I love YouTube.
  18. To all who are still living with "inkjet", I too messed around for years with the inkjets/cartridges/lost connections etc. I spent many times the cost of a low end laser printer. Finally, I had had enough and went online to Amazon. I did my homework and came up with a Brother # MFC-9130CW.I'm not sure it's still available but whatever replaced it would not be that much different. If I recall, I got it on sale for just over $200. I'm still running on the cartridges that came with it. I did buy another black cartridge because most of what I do is in black but I still have it unopened in my desk drawer. Do yourselves a favor and investigate what is out there now and not all that expensive. I've not had one tiny bit of trouble with this printer on any front. The wireless connectivity has not let me down once. Granted, it's sitting on my desk not far from the PC or router. That didn't happen with my inkjets. They were always losing the signal. And I tried every brand. Think about it. Life is too short to spend it messing with a printer that is junk when you buy it. Even the expensive ones are built to fail. They make all their money on the ink.
  19. @avenuewood, I heard back from Wolfgang at A/M. He told me that they are open and have answered every email they had received. He also asked me for more info on your situation. You might try again and specify Wolfgang. I told him that you were trying to order the swivel ends for the Quick Clamp. Ray
  20. I just sent them an email asking about compatibility. I'll let you know what I here back from them. Thanks Kevin.
  21. Nice setup Kevin. Do you know off hand if any of the accessories that you got with yours will fit a Delta 14"? I would like to add the riser block and the fence assy. The prices aren't bad.
  22. @avenuewood, I just sent an email to A/M asking what their status is and sort of explained your situation. I'll let you know if I get an answer. Ray
  23. I was reading on another online forum and came across this video link. I watched it and found that it might come in very handy at some point. I hope you get something from it. I know I did.
  24. Thanks to all who showed their work. You all did a great job. Fine craftsmanship.
