  1. I have cut the heart one twice, making 6 altogether. Sold three. One was a gift to my daughter who gave me the pattern as a gift.
  2. Thanks Brenda for the lesson. I haven't used Inkscape very often but like the other got very frustrated at using it. I know that I am a visual learner.
  3. I like the toothbrush holder idea. I still just have them all in ziptop bags in a box.
  4. Nice cutting. I though it was Steve's pattern...https://www.stevedgood.com/thetorus.pdf... but it is a little different.
  5. My sympathies to his family and the "family" here. He always had a kind word about my work.
  6. I learned that even if I cut the backer at the same time, I couldn't get the "frame" to match properly. If I cut it again, I would put the center pieces (unglued) in while the glue is setting for the frame. I learned that I really hate sanding!!! I learned that I am very unsure about how to shape items. Don't think that intarsia is in my future any time soon unless I take some lessons.
  7. I am usually the first to say, "we are always our worst critic". There are some major gaps in the piece that the photo doesnt show!
  8. Sorry to hear. Hope for a full recovery.
  9. A couple of items that got cut this summer. The segmentation piece was more experimental so not my best piece. Both are Steve Good patterns
  10. Very nice. Thanks for posting the patterns.

    Arpop

I went to look at the patterns (Arpop) and was denied access. How does one get invited to that blog?
  12. Very nice clean work. I have done 4 of them now. I like the font called Sniglet from Dafont.com. I also paint the backer letter space the same colour as the letters. This is one of the four that I have done.
  13. I guess I should take a look at mine. Haven't taken it apart since I got it maybe two years ago. Thanks for the tip!
  14. I love Goo Gone and have used it on many things but never wood. Now I know what to soak my nozzles in and other stuff!! THANKS!!
  15. I take what gets posted. I have tried a couple of times to use Inkscape - not such a great turnout. If I need something larger or done on poster mode, I print from the office. I don't have that option at home because of how hubby has set the printer/computer/tablet.
  16. A quick project. Steve Good pattern, reduced 50%. A piece of tongue and groove pine that I removed the t&g. Gnome and letters all off cuts from other projects.
  17. Fantastic work. I love the crane!
  18. I couldn't get in for a while. Thanks for fixing it quickly. I wouldn't have know how to get intouch with you Travis. I will put your email into my contacts list so if it happens again I have the contact.
  19. Congrats on 5 years. It is "inspirational" to know that you can start with almost no inventory. That is my holdback thought that I don't have enough inventory so I don't go into any shows.
  20. Well done. Like Tomanydogs, I thought the hook would be on the paw.
  21. That is correct.
  22. My co-worker was very happy with the piece. Showed it to everyone in the office!
  23. Thanks Dick, appreciate the kind words!
