  1. Wishing Steve all the best. Hope it was caught earlier enough to be very treatable.
  2. Wowzzer!!! That is amazing work.
  3. Definitely not a celebrity - there are too many others deserving of that. Thanks Kevin
  4. Kitchen gadgets
  5. Thank you everyone for the kind words. It is truly humbling. Thanks also for all the support through the years. I may not post very often but I do read regularly and try to incorporate all the great tips that are offered. I hope that it makes me a better scroller!
  6. I just use a sharpie with my initials and the year. I do this after I have put the finish on.
  7. I just got my late yesterday - everyone here beat me to the punch!
  8. My quarantine project was one of the featured projects in the winter 2020 issue of Scrollsaw Woodworking magazine! So proud and humbled! Thanks for all the support from the group.
  9. Looking forward to cutting it.
  10. I cut this earlier this year. Stack cut 3 from 1/8" bb ply. Put in a standard frame with craft paper as the back.
  11. Beautiful work. Love the glass that you finally got. Thanks for sharing and providing ideas.
  12. I have glued sandpaper to a ceramic tile and then just rub the wood over the sand paper. I have a couple of tiles with different grits glued to them.
  13. Mine never come off in one piece - into the trash they go!
  14. That is stunning! Great cutting.
  15. The couple of times I have dealings with Denny have been awesome!!
  16. Congratulations!
  17. I made a set of these for my grandson and my nephew for Christmas gifts. Both were just under 2 at Christmas. I know my grandson loves his set!
  18. Welcome aboard. Your first cut looks great. You should show the finished result. I would be interested in seeing the resin art as I have been considering trying it out.
  19. I have used fridge magnets that sales people have left around. Wood has caught on them as well, so i had looked into full sheets magnet. I remember seeing a post by Steve Good where he did that.
  20. I can so relate to the time issue. I stopped reading any of the blogs for a while because people kept putting in the time it took them to cut a project. I have realized that I cut at the speed and time I cut and it doesn't matter to any one how long it took. I don't sell at markets, so there is no time line. The only one putting the "time" issue on an item was me. It is still frustrating seeing someone post something with a time frame and I wonder "HOW THE H3ll" did they do that in that time????
  21. Just to clarify, glue the picture and the wood. Stick together almost immediately. Then wait the 24 hours for the glue to set/cure.
  22. Needed both eyes, but had to look away a couple of times!!
  23. Are you gluing the picture and the wood?? That is what I have done in the past. Also let it set at least 24 hours before cutting.
  24. Just got my copy today. Definitely on the cut list!
