  1. Went to the link you posted an it said $15? What am I missing?
  2. Looks like a great way to use up small cutoffs.
  3. Looks good! Couldn’t glue the broken piece back? On projects like these I use a propane torch turned down low and burn the fuzzies off the back. Don’t take but few seconds.
  4. You are right I think we all have had projects that we wish we never started. But when things work we forget the bad ones.
  5. If you start to make silly mistakes stop an take a break. Or wait until tomorrow to work on it. When I retired from railroad an started into woodworking I was still in the mindset that I only have so much time to work on the project.
  6. Isn’t super glue CA glue by a different name?
  7. Was she at a show or you pay to go to her shop?
  8. I have a dust deputy with 5gal shop vac. No problem with the bucket. Am using the one that came with the DD. Instructions said to use a heavy duty bucket. The other bucket that came with it is made to use the wheels that they provide. So you can put the dust holding bucket in it and move it around if you need to. As always using the right tool, in this case right bucket, makes all the difference.
  9. Was this heater hard to hook up? Looks like a good option for my new shop.
  10. I have used a heater that runs on diesel or kerosene in my shop for 10 years. Be 10 outside and in about 15 minutes off with the coat and 67 degrees in shop. I am thinking about going to a ventless LP wall heater just to be cheaper to run. Wife has one in her studio and works great.
  11. I like the name tags you used. Did you make them?
  12. I found a good way to remove fuzzies is with a propane torch turned down low. Move fast an the fuzzies will come off.
  13. Me too
  14. Never heard of the three bears? Golde tried one bed to soft next to hard next just right. Now ring a bell? Glue gun to big next to small maybe next just right
  15. I’ll be the first to say it “ask goldie locks”
  16. Looks like a good idea if you are a bottom feeder.
  17. That is one big bunch of inlay work! We expect nothing less from you lol. Great
  18. Yes you will be happy when it is done, so you can set back an admire what you made!
  19. When my 4 year old granddaughter was here over Christmas I made her 4 of them from the book. She really liked doing them.
  20. Had to zoom in to see it. Very nice and different.
  21. If you can contact Pedro an point out your question I would. If it is a mistake I would think he would want to fix it. I was doing one of Carol’s bowls and for the life of me couldn’t get it to come out the way the instructions said. I contacted her and found out I over looked the step about enlarging the pattern. Point is the pattern makers want us to have good results so we come back.
  22. When I post a project I hope people will give me constructive criticism that will help me out on next project. There isn’t any perfect project that everyone will like. You made it, you like it, that is what matters.
  23. My two cents worth, I think the small hand does get lost in the grain. There is no way I would throw it away lol
  24. That is a great pattern you made! I too like the trains. They keep moving freight I keep getting my pension
  25. Thanks for the links. Isn’t a Steve Good pattern but linked to his site from the pattern maker is why didn’t come up when I did a search of his. ANYWAY I got it thanks!
