  1. My 2 cents worth I like the red one
  2. What is hard (for me anyway) is cutting letters. Everyone knows how a R or S ect should look so they have to be right on.

  4. I use both. Put on blue tape than put spray glue on tape & attach pattern with packing tape over that. When using packing tape make sure you get it on without any wrinkles or saw dust will get under the tape.
  5. The circle is for a woman I know who is going thru a bad time. Hope it will cheer her up some. The pattern is by Sue Mey. The army circle is for a vet who is in the hospital not doing well. A family member asked if I would make something for him. This to me is what makes this rewarding. Sure it is nice to sale a few items but bringing a little smile to someones face is what I enjoy the most.
  6. What they said LOL. I put in a blade one time an it didn't "pull" to the right and I found out I couldn't cut with it because I am so use to blades that do. Took it out an replaced it with one that pulls "normal". You do get use to it.
  7. I use two part epoxy to attach my saw tooth hangers. No problem so far (5 years worth).
  8. Good ideas! I have my shop vac hooked up to my foot switch so it only runs when the saw runs.
  9. Put blue painters tape on wood than I do something different than most. I spray the tape NOT the paper. This way you don't get glue on your hands. Cover with clear package tape. Cut pattern pull tapes off no mess with cleaners.
  10. I make mine out of oak & charge $20
  11. That is so cool Zimmerstutzen! Were do you live?
  12. I have one I got 6 years ago & still works great. 220 grit. I use mine on flet work but use very little pressure. Just touch to the wood. Use it on every project I have done. Takes off almost all fuzzies. Then use torch to get others.
  13. You are lucky that you are in a high traffic area for your farmers market! My small town one we will have maybe 30 people come thru with around 15 vendors. Some Saturdays I will make $100 other days (today) $10.
  14. Thanks for all the kind words! Forgot to mention I got the pattern out of the Scroller Catlog & pattern was done by Mike Williams.
  15. Won at the Indiana, Randolph Country 4H fair! Third year in a row.
  16. When you dip do you get any runs?
  17. Most of the guys on the other site say blue pine also. That is what I will go with. Thanks for looking and kind comments on the project.
  18. Looks and feels like bass wood, kind of looks like poplar. Very light and soft. Poplar I have seen just has green in it. And guesses? Got it from GA.
  19. I sent a request to Sheila Landry for a custom pattern and in lest than 3 hours I had it in my email! You can't beat service like that.
  20. I had the same thing happen to mine. I call Ray at Seyco and they have a level that they have made that works much better than the factory one. There level has a flat spot on it and it will "lock" in place with a snap sound. Had mine for 2 years without any problem. Give them a call he is more than help full.
  21. You say you shrink wrap your items. What do you use to do this? Sounds like a great idea for puzzles!
  22. Lucky you can get it for that price go on Amazon and order it.
  23. Some may already know of woodpeckers.com. I found them on amazon and got 45 pc of 1/8x12x12 BB plywood for $53.99 with FREE shipping. Came in the mail today and the sheets look to be very good.
  24. Going to be hard getting use to bottom feeding but will give it a try.
  25. Hotshot no they are not. It did come with 5 spare clamps. P
