  1. Don't mind me asking were do you call home Dick?
  2. It was on sale at Rockler for $314 with free shipping. Very happy I got it.
  3. Ok I gave the Modified Geometry #5 a try today. A lot of you said they are good and you are right! I tried it out on a 3/4" purple heart puzzle. Thinking if they cut this they will cut anything. Cuts like I was cutting into 1/2" popular. Could not get over how fast it when thru the wood! Doesn't seen to have as much draft on the blade as the FDs do. This took a little time to get use to not feeding the wood in the same angle as I am use to. But is going to be my go to blade for compound and thick wood.
  4. The first filter is like a furnace filter only heaver. The one inside if almost like cloth. Said both can be blown out.
  5. I broke down and spent some money on a Jet Air Filtration System on sale and free shipping. As you can see the filter has a lot of dust on it. It was a blight blue when new. I stirred up the old dust with a air hose. There was a fog of dust in the air but after about 5 min you couldn't see any. The unit makes about the same noise as a small window AC unit. My shop is a two car garage.
  6. Thanks for the web site. I checked them out an looks like priced right and shipping isn't to high.
  7. You all sold me on trying out the pegas MG blades. Were do you order them from or who carries them?
  8. Not sure what 3 is.
  9. Go to Chinese restaurant an ask them.
  10. Go to Chinese restaurant and ask them.
  11. I use UR #3 on my ex21 without having that problem. Maybe you got a bad bunch.
  12. I had the idea of putting the dogs name at the top. When I showed her and offered to do a name she said she liked it as is. She loved it and less work for me. LOL. I didn't keep track of the time
  13. Russell was kind enough to make a pattern of a dog for a girl on my school bus (i dirve bus LOL). Made out of 1/4 BB with #3 FD New Sprial blades. Thanks Russell.
  14. Very nice indeed! How do you dust it off?
  15. I use a kerosene space heater in my garage/shop heates up in 10 minutes. Shuts its self on and off.
  16. This what you need? Maybe someone can turn pictures. And tell how to turn them 😜
  17. Picture of my setup. Notice white foot stool with switch.
  18. I use dead man switch. Sometimes you need to keep both hands on pattern. Also faster than moving foot back to switch to start or stop. Used the switch on my EX21 one time in six years (to put it in on position). I rest my foot on a short step stool with switch mounted to it.
  19. Steve Good has a review on his blog today. Said pegas cut good on hard maple 3/4
  20. not if you put the glue on the wood not on the paper.
  21. If you spray the painters tape or if you prefer spray the wood AN NOT THE PAPER you won't have to hold the paper down with a stick, spray holding in wind, worry about getting glue on fingers, not geting pattern covered all over, having paper curl and stick to its self. I have a wiremesh layed over trash can put wood on wire and over spray goes into trash can. Just my 2 cents
  22. I spray glue on the blue tape than place pattern onto the tape. Don't get glue on fingers this away
  23. Don---I got one of Rays tension level that he updated. It was totally worth the extra money.
  24. Don that is why top feeding is easier for me. You can see the hole to put the blade into.
  25. That is how I do also. I think Steve Good said that is how he does it too. Been hooked up this way for about 2 years.
