  1. I am planing on going Sunday afternoon. Looking forward to meeting Steve Good. Only about hour an half from me.
  2. Has anyone used this company for your sanding needs? I ordered a feed belt for my 16-32 drum sander. I got it in 3 days and with shipping only $34.00 to east central Indiana. Looks to be same as the factory one that was on it. They have a lot of other sanding products too. 2Sand
  3. How many did you stack cut at a time?
  4. Should be a bit proud both top and bottom. This will have your blade in the center of the holder. Also the left set screw will give the blade a base to be tightened up to. I use a drop of blue lock tight to keep it in place.
  5. About two months ago I asked Birchbark to help make a seal so it could be scrolled. It is for my niece's husband who is in the Army. I have the book that has most of the military seals but this one wasn't in it. The first picture is what he had to work with and the second is the finished one. An the third one is his pattern he made for me. Thanks!!
  6. When you say 13x8 you aren’t talking about inches are you?
  7. I think he is right & I think Steve would agree & change his.
  8. I think the clock looks good!
  9. Thanks a bunch for the pattern!
  10. Blights would you be willing to provide the foot pattern you used?
  11. I like the way you updated his feet. I plan on making one also along with the other 100s of patterns!
  12. You say $20. Do you mean $2.00?
  13. I had the operation an wasn’t fun but better than putting up with pain for 11 years that is just not something that makes sense. Get operation do what Dr tells you all will be good.
  14. I picked up a piece of garapa were I get my wood. They were out of yellow heart and first time having this type in stock. Just a bit darker than yellow heart but cuts a lot harder. This cross I have made in the past using only two blades. To cut it this time using garapa wood it took 9 blades (#5 pegas mg) and wanted to burn worst than cherry. I didn't think I was going to get it resawed from 4/4 to 2/4 even with a new band saw blade. Won't be buying anymore of this unless to make a box or something that doesn't take a lot of fret cutting. It is a Sue Mey pattern, almost forgot.
  15. In another post I told about the good deal I got on a Jet spindle sander. Well went to another auction an picked up this craftsman rotary tool bench for $5.00. There was talk about them a few months back an I was going to make one but never got around to it. The auctioneer and other people didn't know what it was. I am going to mount my bench top router, bench top 6" jointer and a down draft sanding box on it. It is going to save a bunch of space in shop. Also at same auction I picked up a very well build 4'x6' work bench for $25.00.
  16. You have had really good events, one bad is to be expected with the odds. Welcome to my world LOL.
  17. Two new saws in one day, life is good!
  18. That is a very good idea. I like the puzzle ones the best just because they are different
  19. Picked this up at an auction for $200! It has never been used. NO dust inside it and the tools an spindles are still in the sealed bags. Also the power cord is still done up with the factory tie. The stand and cover came with it. The top still has the factory stuff on it to keep rust from forming on it. A Dr. was going to get into woodworking an had the money to buy the best but didn't have the time. I am just the other way around LOL.
  20. Just my two cents--Iggy what is the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. Sounds like buy a dewalt junk dewalt buy dewalt junk dewalt. I have had a EX21 for 7 years without any major problems. For sure not bad enough to send away. You can't beat Ray Seyco for service. What is the old saying "try it you might like it ". Now I will get off my soapbox.
  21. I am with Rolf on this. I use a pin nailer also. Use to tape layers together but got a nailer much easier.
  22. A few weeks back I posted pictures of a dart board cabinet I made for my oldest son. He picked it up today and has it hanging in his game room. Some of you asked to see it with the board in it so here it is.
  23. Personal thanks to you Russell! I am sure I will need your help again sometime in the future. Also thanks for all the nice comments from everyone!
  24. If I need a vent line wider then the flat blade makes I will cut it using flat blade first. Then go back over with a sprial. The sprial will follow the cut line without any problem. When I us a sprial first I just slow down with out any trouble.
  25. Finished the dart board cabinet for my son's family. He wanted it stained ebony but I sure would have liked to make it out of oak. But it is his house. It is 6"x26"x38". Thanks to Russell (birchbark) for help with the little men holding the darts. The basic idea and plans came from Woodsmith Plans.
