  1. Great cut of a great pattern!
  2. It is tempting, but I will be a nice guy and let you go first.
  3. I have not seen this before. Hegner now has a drum sander. https://advanced-machinery.myshopify.com/products/hegner-tws-230-drum-sander?variant=31753413525570
  4. Welcome!! I am in south eastern Wisconsin but we have members from all over the world here. You will find this is THE number one forum for Scroll Sawing on the net. Jim in Jackson, Wis.
  5. Great blades and great service!!
  6. Wow, just... Wow!! Well done!
  7. Good advise here. Try all three brands mentioned above. Personally I have settled on Pegas blades that I get from Denny.
  8. Video worked for me. Beautiful area. As far as drones go, I would never have one - I would not get anything else done, cause I would be playing with it all the time!
  9. You may have dodged a bullet. In my talks to Bushton, the only problems they seem to have is machines with motors from Fasco. A Dayton motor will be great. Enjoy!
  10. Wood. The metal makes it look cheap IMO.
  11. I understand my friend. Sometimes you just have to run the saw and let the other stuff wait. Happens to me all the time.
  12. 1/2" Red Oak with a BB backer. I like their patterns!
  13. $500?? for a used Dewalt?? You ARE lucky!!
  14. It's been a long time since I have seen a TRV. Some of us would like to see pictures of the whole car. It is a right hand drive or did they make a left hand for the US?
  15. I agree with you, Intarsia is fun and the results are impressive, but sometimes I just want to run my saw.
  16. How old are you??? I have one exactly like yours - I bought it over 45 years ago! And I use my almost every day too.
  17. From Ocooch Hardwoods: Ocooch Hardwoods Is Shipping Orders as Normal, But Closed for Walk-ins The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting individuals and businesses alike. As a rural, family-owned and operated business, we consider ourselves fortunate to have not been directly affected by the virus—either through personal health or business operations. We are operating as normal, with the exception of being closed for walk-ins. As of April 3, 2020, we are still receiving and shipping orders with the consistent, friendly service you expect. If anything changes, we will update you immediately and post any relevant information on this page.
  18. I told my wife she needs to embrace her mistakes.... She came over and gave me a hug.
  19. Oh, I have a burn bucket too!!
  20. What I was trying to say was that it was a mistake to try Hickory for Intarsia due to the sanding. Fixed it by using it for fretwork. Just goes to prove what the wife says: you don't communicate. LOL
  21. I am always looking for Intarsia wood - interesting color and grain patterns. Found some plan Hickory I thought would work. Cuts OK, sanding and shaping is a real pain. This week, I felt lazing and just wanted to sit at the saw and cut something. Turns out I LIKE Hickory for shelf sitters, more so than my usual Red Oak.
  22. Thanks. The pattern is made for wall hanging, but someone had a pix of it as a shelf sitter, which I like better.
  23. Sheila Landry pattern. 3/4" Red Oak cut with #5 Pegas MGT blades on the old Hegner
  24. My Hegner likes Pegas blades, Flying Dutchman blades not so much.
  25. Thanks, but its not my pattern. Its made by Sam Custodio Workshop designs on Facebook.
