  1. Does your saw ever cool down!
  2. Very nice design and very good cutting!
  3. Ralph Roggenbuck Some people do not deserve AIR! Any who would do that! beyond imagination! Total EVIL!

  4. Good work! Although no "sports fan" of any kind; I do like nice work! If it is too damned straight of lines it looks "COPUTER" made! I like each piece hand made better! Drill bits are an essential part of woodworking! Not Cheating!
  5. Good design and nice work on the scrolling and the frame.

    New sign

A good job on the sign! More work than many people realize!
  7. If you have a motor and it is cheap enough; why not? I think it was made to be mounted and the belt with was just put along! Not the belt that belongs. Mount and then mount motor where it works out the best-- then see the local (ACE) or similar store for a decent priced belt of a usable length.
  8. GREAT work on the cutting and the patterns! The 57 Fords are one of my favorite of all. When I was Y.A.S. we had about 20 57's and a couple of 59's. I do like the 57's better! They drove better and did not seem as clumsy! (My brothers and I owned a service station and bought sold cars too. Sometimes 2 or 3 became one-- depending on the issues that needed to be resolved! The hopefully attached picture was our shop "truck". It would handle more load than most 1/2 ton pickups (beefed up springs) and go like crazy too! Something to do with an "attitude" 390 cu.in engine! Modifications had been by the 3R's!

    New Projects

    All of the ABOVE!
  10. Well as much work as those eagles are; I am glad you saved it! Nice work!-- How many names have you made?--I bet you do NOT KNOW! I have made a lot less than you have and I do not know how many.
  11. Worth the try!

  12. Iah's a bettin' ya gonna get copied! Nice work!

    Mower

Nice! Past my patience, skills, and I do not really like lawn mowers! Hate working on the riders especially! The wooden ne will be the best of the bunch!
  14. I think he does that just to make the rest of us seem old and slow! Hey; some of us are! A.K. keep-in his title!
  15. Be careful to order Pin end if that is what your saw uses. If you can use either, for the thick more or less straight cuts the pin ends will probably work better for you also! There are conversion kits available for some saws for plain end blades if that is your preference. http://pozsgaidesigns.com/Here is a link to the guy I buy blades from. He is a scrollsawer himself and a very "people" person. Great guy and good advice; with good service too! I met him personally because of trying to find a decent place to buy blades!
  16. NICE!
  17. A big "Thank You" from several of us "borrowers". I will be doing something similar-- though, I might beusing 1/4 inch spacing.
  18. Thank You from several of us "idea borrowers"! I end using my scrollsaw and then doing the trueing up on the belt sander while letting them spin. Your idea may make my process much faster and a more accurate wheel.
  19. I do like this picture!

  20. Just retaining your title? Usual Amazing! Kevin.
  21. A.K.; it will be amazing to see if it only takes you 2-3 days, or actually 2-3 weeks like it would the rest of us! Good Going!
  22. Just A.K. being A. K.! Nice work and how many DRIVE THRU people do you know by name??? Half of Florida? Kidding aside-- Nice work.
  23. I have cut a lot of name signs from some actual hickory flooring and like it. It tests the saw though. I have not tried the fake stuff. When cutting unusual things I try to keep my blades well waxed-- re-waxing often! (Easy hold the candle stub to the running blade.) It might help some.
  24. Just the "Usual -Dick--work" Fantastic!
  25. Try covering the area with clear packing tape; then using fine-point (I use red-- because it shows better against the blades) marker to draw the pattern on the tape. You might have to experiment with the tape and markers to find what works with each other the best. On things I ma going to repeat; I make templates and use this technique all the time.
