  1. Made from repurposed cedar. All curved cuts were made on DeWalt #788. A lot of tools were used also. Even some hand filing. It is about 58" long and the handles ends are 16" apart. The wheel is 10" diameter. The wheel is several pieces of cedar that are screwed together. The box is 32" long and tapers from 15" to 13" front to back on the width. It was fun to see what developed as I went along! I do have more pictures if someone wants more detail. I do have to resize and re-save my pictures to post here! That is why, I am sometimes low on amount of pictures. Customer wants a rustic look for the front yard. It was torched for the effect! Should get a spray of exterior clear polyurethane to really set-off the grain!
  2. I think you can make it! Keeps you out of other mischief! Good going there A.K.!
  3. Aloha OR (Portland sub--)

    5000 holes

I get cross-eyed just looking at it! The others have said it all! WAY PAST my patience levels.
  6. I will say that it is very well done! The true cowboy spirit is now becoming rare! Living and treating others as we would they to treat us is the true cowboy spirit! Also do the job and do it well; even though that it a little tough at times!
  7. It would be fun for me; but I am too far away! Postage would be BRUTAL! Even small things now are $10+.

    shelves

A lot of work there! Nice job.
  9. I had the same issue, used my $8 heat gun from HF and leather gloves and it pushed right on. It was one section shorter though! That was the one that had somehow broken in half on the saw. I am positive a pan of extremely hot water would also work for the heat! The rather thin leather gloves are a shop necessity! Save many sander burns when using the belt sander for fitting pieces or for cutting improvements!
  10. Neat idea and very well done!

  19. Magnificent!
  20. I use a small shop vacuum that I manage to string around to the bottom of my DW 788! works fair. I also am always sweeping and vacuuming the floor. I do not think a perfect dust system exists! I used to be able to roll my saw outside and just work outside! Not able to do that now, from 2nd floor shop!
