  1. Both are above my patience and ability levels! NICE!
  2. Fantastic tour---Thanks--- I knew I had heard sheep! I used to raise some 50 years ago! The sign that is missing should say" No Fishing-- Violators Thrown IN!" How do you get time for wood withal of that to keep up!
  3. I have been BEAT OUT! My title of CSY is in very serious jeopardy! Good find on the frames-- and I will still fight you for the CHEAP SKATE of the year AWARD! I get most of my project wood from dumpster salvage company! I do sometimes also get FREE DIRT! Never know what the fencing company ends up with in their dumpster; I have even found smaller chunks of nice oak. I am also not to proud to raid the curbside free wood stock piles! Happy frame-up Jobs!

Well done and neat designing too.
  10. I think that Kevin; has no other life than a scrollsaw! He can even keep his title with mistakes! GREAT COVER! Carpenters use trim to cover errors, Scrollers add a new element to the design!
  11. Kevin; as fast as you cut!! What did you do for the other 2 hours of that 3?? Actually Very nice work!-------Just keeping your title!
  12. Beautiful! Great cutting. Takes more skill and patience than I have.
  13. A lot more skill and patience than I have or would put into a project at one time! Great Job!
  14. MY GUESS and it is a guess! Might be a track from aluminum from either table, or down-clamp! If they are aluminum try to wax the heck out of both! I had a Dremel with an aluminum table that would leave black marks on some wood if I did not keep it very well waxed. There is a cover available that is Teflon-- self adhesive and cut-able to shape. I think I even had a pop-up ad for it on this site.
  15. My DW is about 4-1/2 years of relatively hard use. Made many hickory flooring nameplates! That will test a saw! I hated the lamp from day one-- I have made adaptors and use an actual spring arm desk lamp! Then I found the wonderful led now at Rockler for $50!--Has GLASS magnifier built in! GREAT LIGHT! The blade clamps are not great; but, I even looked at the Excaliber and those are a little better, not a bunch! I have no experience on a bigger Delta, but 2 of my sons have 16" ones and I did not like either of the 2--Sorry do not know model #'s. They might be great saws too, I just did not like how they felt and ran! I had used an old Dremel for several years and actually liked it better than the Deltas. The DW is in my opinion a better saw for me than any of the 3 perviously mentioned ones. I would buy another DW #788 at this time. But, I would see if I could test drive a few comparable ones just to see what fits me best! Do what fits for you, not for anyone else! Please the person in the mirror!
  16. Keeping the A.K. Title "Schultz"!
  17. Farm boys (When "farm boys" still actually worked) were usually hungry enough to even eat the stuff we did not LIKE! Nice work! Great saying!
  18. All said above! Nice work!

    Western Frames

Your local fencing company may even give you a better deal on the cedar, worth a try! I get to dumpster raid at one here; sometimes shorts; but usable and FREE! Sometimes even long, narrower strips. Easy to make frames from them.
  20. I never was very good at the party thing! Envious; I think! Just had to take a -----= at the T's!
  21. Hey "Schulz" Neat work! Texans PARTY HARDY!!! Yaa all know; Barb-----BQ!---- Chili!----- BEER!----TARGET PRACTISE! shoot a few 100 rounds just to keep sharp!- 4 day parties to get in shape for the summer coming up so they can handle the 3-week first summer party!
  22. Get a small jewelers screwdriver set also! Otherwise you will get frustrated trying to use the screws! Also if nailing drive the nails at an up angle so the weight makes them tighter. Use a very fine needle nose plier to help you start them! I took one to the grinder and narrowed the front to an actual point to use for some of these kinds of uses. When making thicker things; I use a keyhole bit on the router to make a hanging hole, or sometimes a drill bit angled to go up to tighten with the weight of the object!
  23. To do a car paint job right is a BUNCH of work! Just carpet it! Outdoor-- will survive fail---ry well. The closets I have been to NYC is thru the corner of the sate and saw the sign! Still to close for comfort! They can keep it! Nice scrolling though! SCHULTZ!
  24. Hope the work has "banked" some cash for you! Neat and nice!
  25. Congratulations on the new FANCY RIDE! Like getting a Maybach! I still have my first scrollsaw---( I did buy it new)! Admit not using it very much anymore, but, I do have a good excuse though. I have had 4 others in between then and now. Wore one completely out! Moved and sold the 5 year old Dremel instead of a 1500 mile moving for it. Bought a DeWalt 788 and then a used Grizzly( RVin saw) Oh the first saw has no motor; yet it is electric. To add to the puzzle it is a 1952 year model Craftsman. It was originally an 11 inch saw and now is a 18" one, for the last 40+ years. I am stating true statements! Yes, I am deliberately leaving a lot of you wondering! Message me for the details; if curious.
