  1. Dick, Both of them try to help anyone! People like these make this the excellent forum that it is!
  2. A lot of cutting! Looks good.
  3. I really like the aromatic cedar for many unique projects. Nice find and NICEWORK!
  4. Neat! Nice job. Makes some of us appreciate that we are still here and at least a little useful!
  5. Much more patience and precision than I can do! NICE WORK! I am also very pleased that I do NOT have to dust it!
  6. A.K. doin' what A.K. does and always extremely well! Great job.
  7. Thanks for the tip.
  8. Here is the link to my weebly site. http://aeontoys.weebly.com/index.html I have not seen any business from it ; but sometimes I do get an inquiry. The contact form does not seem to work. It is free and it is a good reference point anyway! I had tried Etsy with very miserable results--NONE--- but some do well there.
  9. Depending on your requirements; Harbor freight, Menards, Northern tool, Acme Electric will have some. The sewing/craft stores like Johann's/Michael's etc. also carry some. These tend to be more expensive and may not stand the vibrations, but, worth looking at. (They both often have coupons for discount also) You can also try Amazon and EBay!
  10. Another reason to call you "Amazing Kevin!" Good job. WAY past my precision level and patience too.

  15. As a 10 year + member; "If all else fails try EBAY!" Or to save yourself time/frustration, etc. "Look there first." http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=music+box+movements&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313&_nkw=music+box+movements&_sacat This link should work; If not just do a search! Keep up the nice work and let us know about the finished results!
  16. Nice work! Hand surgery is a little painful; but has good recovery rates! Like anything though, the harder you work on it the better the results usually are.
  17. Very nice work! That cedar is one of my favorite woods. Really like the live edge base! Just another A.K. run!
  18. Very neat!
  19. Mine was just a cheap piece of junk thrown on the side that was a bear to even find the right bulb for it! I am totally happy with my modifications to the stand and the light. I put a shelf between the saw and the stand. I have a stemmed spring arm type desk lamp that I drilled holes in my shelf for positioning it on either side and forward or back as needed! It takes standard bulbs that are cheap easily found and give a lot better light than the original. I use a screw-in fluorescent daylight bulb and it lasts very well. Current one is at least a couple of years old. Maybe they did change it! Hard to get expensive bulbs that burned out rapidly made no sense to me! I had used the same type of light on my old Dremel that even had factory holes for it. SO I knew that it would work well! On top of that;it no longer gets HOT!
  20. Portland Oregon suburb-----location! Welcome to the insanity-- BUT we have fun! Seriously--great bunch all want to see new work and very willing to share ideas and help resources locator and all of that!
