  1. Why not?
  2. The only time I cut myself on a scroll was when I told myself if you do that, you are going to cut yourself. I did it anyway, and I cut myself. I don’t remember what it was, I just remember saying “don’t do that”.
  3. I used to tell my students that it was possible to cut your finger off with a scroll saw, but you would probably have to change the blade at least once!
  4. Take it off and toss it. It serves no purpose other than to get in your way!
  5. You will love it Ralph! I have one and I love mine! Happy Birthday by the way.
  6. Very nice on both fronts!
  7. New name, but you look the same, welcome home!
  8. I use a pizza box too. I lay the pattern on the box while holding the box with one hand and spray with the other. I usually walk out of the shop to spray. As far as spray paint, I have a large piece of cardboard that covers my table saw. I paint on that.
  9. Nice work Edward! The No Coffee has been a good seller for me over the years.
  10. I stepped up from a DeWALT to a Pegas a year ago. The Pegas is a great saw and I am very pleased with it.
  11. Unfortunately the average person always pays top dollar. I paid $150 shipping for my new Laguna band saw from W.V. to Souther Ca. Through Woodcraft. I’m sure if I shipped it, it would of cost over $300.
  12. You are a good husband Bobby!
  13. This would not be a dilemma for me. I would keep both! For me, it’s important to have a working saw at all times. If something went wrong with my primary saw, I have a backup till I could repair it. Yes, it takes up space, but at least it’s there if I need it.
  14. I’m with Wayne, I don’t count holes or time cutting or any other variable. When the blade no longer cuts the way I want it, it’s time to change it.
  15. Great work Jim!
  16. Cute!
  17. Great cutting Ervin, it’s a very nice portrait!

    Mooooo

    Nice, looks good Barry!
  19. Usually it’s just a matter of loosening the two screws that mount the table to the bevel gauge. Then adjust the table as needed, then tighten the screws. By the way, welcome to the Village! We are a helpful group, so don’t be shy.
  20. With a very nice gift card from Woodcraft and a nice check, I was able to purchase a Laguna 14/12 band saw. The two deciding factors on this saw is 12” resaw capacity and it runs on standard 110v. I ordered the mobility kit and and a Laguna ResawKing blade. Still waiting on the blade. Looking forward to re-sawing my wood on this!
  21. You always do such nice work Marg!
  22. Welcome to the Village Tom! Looks like you have a lot to offer here!
  23. Fun stuff Michael, nice work!
  24. Every year (excluding this year) I exchange ornaments with friends around the world. This year I set up a few on a shelf on the middle landing of our staircase. These are just a small sampling of the ornaments I have! The stand was made to display Mini birdhouses at craft shows. It is made of solid Mahogany, including the dowels which I made.

    iPad updated

Welcome back Matt! I use my iPad for everything too. I do have a laptop, but I haven’t turned it on in at least two years because I hate Windows!
