  1. Great work Denny! That's one I havn't done, but I have done the bear.
  2. Thanks for the reminder Travis!
  3. My only concern is you are locking yourself into one nich. If you are sure you will not be cutting any other type of scroll work, than go for it.
  4. Sleeping in the dog house tonight? Nice cutting!

Congratulations Delvaughn! You must be very proud!
  10. Thanks for that Rolf!
  11. Seeing that it also includes Seafood, how about the Sea Life Puzzle found in the Summer, 2011 issue of Scroll Saw Woodworking & crafts. I haven't cut any this year so far, but I usually sell two or three a year.
  12. Good idea on the shelving! A couple of things that might help. First, set your tables at the back of your space. This invites the customer to come into your space rather than hanging out outside. It will also give you more space if you needed it. Second, the tables need covers like the guy next to you. It give your space a more finished look, and a place to hide your boxes and stuff.
  13. Defiantly a score for you!
  14. Most shows that require liability insurance offer a one day policy for a small fee. Call the promoter to see if they offer it.
  15. Very nice work Marg!
  16. Great work Dave!
  17. The problem is the first link is cracked. An easy repair is to heat the first link with a heat gun or hair dryer. It will soften the the plastic. Or just pull off the hose from the metal conector. Use the heating devise to heat the second link and pull off the cracked link. Use a pair of plyers or needle nose for this. You don't want to melt the plastic, just soften it. Once the first link is removed, heat the second link one more time and it should pop right into the metal conector. Let it cool, then you are good to go!
  18. Nice cutting! Looks like Blue Pine from here.
  19. Cliff, the wood looks like a "Bass Round". These are available at craft stores like Michaels and online catalogs like Scrolleronline.com.
  20. Nice looking clock Edward!
  21. There's nothing worse than being out of commission because your saw has broken down. Having a spare saw is a great thing to have. Plus, it's small enough you might be able to store it in your camper so you can take it on vacation with you!!!
  22. Excellent cutting Pete, you made Russell proud!
  23. Beautiful work Tony! Love that quilted Maple!
  24. Great work Peter! The main difference between Baltic birch plywood and marine grade plywood I's the glues use to sandwich the layers. On BB plywood they use a water soluble glue. On marine grade plywood they use a waterproof epoxy type glue which is much harder on blades.
  25. Don't be so modest Dave, all excellent work!
