Very cool Peter! Just put them on display to show off your scrolling Prowess!
  11. Great work Scott! How did you get the gig?
  12. When you say "sheets" you imply plywood. What you are looking for are boards. Chances are you will not find 1/4" Cherry in 16" width. You are going to have to glue up boards to get the width you need.
  13. A very beautiful box indeed!
  14. Great work Tony! Is the backer stained? It looks like Mahogany!

  18. I watched for about 45 minutes. Great info for begginers. My suggestion for next time is have prep work already done in advance and just show how it's done, then move on. You spent about 10 minutes on glueing the pattern, tapping and making up your stack. If you had your your blank already done, you could briefly show how you did each step without show the whole process. And taking time out to text someone was just too much! Overall, this is a great resource for begginers and experienced scrollers alike!
  19. I couldn't survive without my table saw. You have to learn to respect it. When that little voice in your head says "don't do that", find another way to do it!
  20. Glad you finally decided to come out of the woodwork! Come on in and join the fun!

    Cool!
  24. Great looking sign! Aspen is a very soft and grainy wood that leaves a lot of fuzzies. You might go with Maple next time.
