Great work Marg! Can you tell us how you cut the silver? Do you sandwich it between plywood or just cut it by itself? Do you have to sand and polish it?

The 3/0 designates three 0's. Not all blades come in all sizes but it might go like this...000, 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and so on.

Don, are all the students new too scrolling? If so, two hours will go by in an instant! I teach scroll saw at a Woodcraft store. In those two hours you have to teach the basics first, blades, blade choice, wood, patterns, how to cut a straight line ect. The key chain pattern will be to small and difficult for most begginers. You will want basic shapes like hearts and stars. I can help you out if you want. On my way to work, will check in this evening.

Very nice work Monti! I often display my stand up puzzles standing up with the pieces deliberately out of line with each other to demonstrate that it is a puzzle. I see nothing wrong with yours!

I can't help you specifically Randy, but if you check out the Woodcraft or Rockler sites, you will get an idea of what you may need. I would love to have a built in system, but for now, I just move the hose from machine to machine. Not very efficient I know, but it works!
