You are right eagle eyes! Looking further, there does not appear to be a thumb screw on the upper clamp, but the arms look like EX and DeWalt arms so the clamps could be replaced.
Well, considering the motor is the same color as the compressor, and the compressor pulley is lined up with the motor, it’s still a tough call.
Regardless, I still would pass on it.
Hey Dan, that is one of the original Excalibur saws made by Summerville Designs in Canada. It was a great saw in its time, but parts are no longer available.you would have to see it in person to see how it works. It will be over twenty years old!
There was no online help when I started scrolling. In fact I didn’t have internet. Since then I have belonged to 4 scroll saw sites. I call this one home! Thanks Travis!
