  1. Total Shop is or was a modular system much like Shopsmith. The modules would fit onto the drive unit that would power it. Pretty good chance that saw does not have a motor or if it does, it’s not an original motor
  2. Looks like Mahogany, very nice cutting!
  3. Very cool indeed!
  4. Nice!
  5. Nice work Ralph!
  6. Nice Brian!
  7. Happy Independence Day!
  8. Really cool work Jeff!
  9. I had a set of those round knobs from Seyco. I didn’t like them so I ended up sending them to one of my buddies in the UK. Can’t remember who though!
  10. I would Get by with a little help from my friends. Nice cutting Lew!
  11. If I was in your dilemma, I would print them onto plain paper, as many copies as you need, cut them out then using a glue stick glue then onto your label sheet.
  12. Niqua is the maker of Flying Dutchman blades. I wonder if they are the same blades?
  13. Kevin, I mix my own blo/ ms mixture. I basically use this as a stain. It brings out the natural grain and color of most hardwoods. Personally I don’t like the look of poly. So I use spray lacquer as a top coat. The blo/ms mix is not intended as a final finish.
  14. This past Saturday, I scrolled all day working on various projects. I use a wooden bar stool. I’ve used it for years without any problem but this time, my back and shoulders were hurting. I decided I needed a more comfortable seat to scroll. So, I went on Amazon and found a nice drafting chair. I told my wife what I was doing and she said “ oh, let me get it for you for Fathers Day”. Well, it came today! It took about 15 minuets to put together, but man, is that chair comfortable! I ordered it without armrests as I figured since I was using it for scrolling, I wouldn’t use them anyways. I was worried the backrest would be useless, but it actually supports my back while I’m scrolling. Definitely a game changer!
  15. That’s what happens when we get old! I should of figured that out!
  16. Love the box Steve and the clock is nice! What is meant by 23/4 insert?
  17. Very cool Edward! I was looking at that very same pattern today. I haven’t decided if I’m going to cut yet, but it looks interesting!
  18. Well Ray, you done good! It looks great!
  19. You should Ray. There is so much more! Heck, you will never know if someone wished you a happy birthday on your Biryhday this last April!
  20. You should post this in Hot deals and announcements.
  21. It’s important that the saw is mounted to a sturdy stand or table. The stands that are designed for saws like the DeWALT and Delta are designed to minimize vibration. If you don’t mount it to the factory stand, it needs to be bolted or clamped to a sturdy bench.
  22. Should work well to collect the dust below the table, but you also need to collect the stuff above the table. That is the dust that becomes airborne and settles everywhere including your lungs. Here’s what I did.
  23. Orangeman, thanks for letting us know that the new Delta won’t fit the DeWALT stand without modification. Next time someone asks, we will know the answer!
  24. The newer Delta saw is not identical to the DeWALT. The older model was the same saw painted Delta blue. The newer Delta Saw was changed to accommodate the arm lift mechanism and of course to make it their own saw, not a DeWALT clone. At one time Delta and DeWALT were part of Black And Decker, but not anymore.
