  1. Something different that I made most recently at the request of my lead pastor, who wanted a modern-art piece depicting the Annunciation of the birth of our Lord. Too large to cut on a scroll saw, so I used a jigsaw to cut the entire picture. Then I backlit it with an LED light strip. It measures 4' x 3'. It will be used as a display at our church's Christmas Eve Walk-through Event.
  2. Stunningly beautiful. I love your use of depth.
  3. I repaired mine by using a small hose clamp.
  4. Another old west - themed cutting. Pattern and cutting by me.
  5. I just assembled my latest project. each panel is 7x10x1/8" baltic birch. Patterns designed by me. Backlit with LED light strip.
  6. Cowboys and Indians...excuse me...Native Americans
  7. This is a backlit Voodoo Queen that I made a few years ago.
  8. Here's a backlit ghoul that I made last year.
  9. Rick, you made the point, exactly. I believe my skills are a gift of God, and are meant to help others. I am honored to provide aid by the glory of our Creator.
  10. Thank you all for your nice comments. Some of you have asked me to post the patterns for these here in SSV, so I will do so. When I am asked for my patterns by people on Facebook, I tell them to contribute (any amount they choose) to a good charity and then just let me know. Then I send them the pattern they request. I don't want to profit from my work, except to have it somehow enrich someone in need. So, please, if you use someone's free pattern that you would otherwise have to purchase, consider sending a contribution to a worthy charity. God bless you all! Kris Martinson
  11. I used two different stains on the same piece of wood to get the divine light effect on the Gethsemane pic.
  12. Truly, I was moved to cut these both. Patterns by me.
  13. I made the pattern.
  14. I like the wood grain in both sides of this one. I will probably display the one on the bottom.
  15. I love using the 2/0 Pegas spirals. It took a little getting used to, but I would never go back to using anything else for non-linear cutting.
  16. About 12 hrs to cut.
  17. Here's a few of mine that I've done over the years.
  18. It's only 8x10 inches BB Pegas 2/0 spiral blades.
  19. The original drawing is by Ovid Creasy. I selectively stained the wood with slightly different stains to darken the water. The wood had a natural "flaw" through the center right where I needed it.
  20. Great cutting.
  21. These are beautiful. How are you lighting them?
  22. Wow...excellent design and execution. I'd be proud to wave this flag.
  23. I made this for my son's tiki bar. It is backlit with multi-colored LED light strips.
  24. I merged two layers to create this pattern. This was truly from the heart. I have to say that I felt God's hand when deciding to create this one.
  25. Yes, I woodburned the lettering on this one.
