  1. I used spiral blades for the entire project.
  2. I cut this time-intensive piece this week. Pattern by me. 8x10x1/4 inch Baltic birch ply.
  3. I finished another horse piece today. I adapted the pattern from a stencil I found online.
  4. Just finished this piece. Pattern by me.
  5. This piece is 11 x 14 inches Baltic birch 3/8" ply. I made it in portrait format because it showed more of what I wanted in the scene and because of the wood grain.
  6. I would like to see your work and learn about your technique.
  7. Very well said. I completely agree. I love using spirals. In my hands they do exactly what I want with minimum effort. The type of art I'm doing lends itself to "ragged" cuts, so I don't view that as a negative.
  8. I made this clock for my son's Tiki Bar. It's backlit with color-changing LED light-strips.
  9. I made this trivet for my son's Tiki Bar.
  10. I just finished cutting this wood-art piece. This one took about 18 hours to cut and another 2 hours to make the pattern. I made it from a painting by artist, Ted Blaylock.
  11. I really love this one. You did an awesome job.
  12. Patrick Mahomes Pattern by me. My hometown team won the Superbowl again, so I celebrated by cutting this.
  13. Gorgeous work!
  14. Very well done, Dick. I love scenery patterns like this one, and you sure did it justice. May I be so presumptuous as to make a minor recommendation? I have had the same problem of the black background reflecting light when photographed. So now I back my pieces with black felt which I buy at Walmart and at Hobby Lobby for about 35 cents a piece.
  15. Lovely grain in both photos.
  16. Really nice work.
  17. Jerry, let me know if you ever want help making a portrait pattern.
  18. I married the girl next door 48 years ago. We were sweethearts in 7th-8th grades. Then reconnected in college. As kids we walked hand-in-hand at school and on country trails. So I made this portrait of us for her last year at Valentines Day.
  19. I cut these recently. Christ the Great Physician; Travis Kelce; Patrick Mahomes; and the kid is my grandson in a tuxedo (for a wedding).
  20. NIce work. Thanks you for sharing your ideas.
  21. 8" T x 20" W
  22. I tried scrolling something different than my usual wood art. This one is free-standing (no backing). To be hung on a wall.
  23. Ornaments and portraits that I made for friends.
