  1. Hi Kevin. Great piece of work. On the larger Eagle what size and style of blade did you use? Regards Paul
  2. Hi Lawson56. You are too kind. Big thanks for the kind comments from everyone. I'm looking forward to getting back in the shed and carry on with this addiction, but I think work has other plans for me. Here's another pattern I will revisit. Broke it at the bottom and some bad cuts elsewhere. But it was very enjoyable to do.
  3. Amazing work.
  4. Hi Marg. If you scroll down this page you will find the free download for bookend patterns. You will find the fairy pattern in there. http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/book-end-scroll-saw-patterns.html Hi. It's nice stuff to cut. But a mate gave me some Perspex that was about 9mm thick and no matter what blade or speed I tried it just welded itself together. Not sure if that's to do with different properties in the plastic or the thickness. The fairies are 4mm. Regards Paul
  5. Hi Steve. Just had a look at your projects. Now that is very nice work. Regards Paul
  6. Hi dgman. That's what I'm now doing. I should of realised that as it's the same on iphone. Thanks for the heads up.
  7. Cheers Kevin.
  8. Cheers Roly ðŸ‘
  9. Thanks Frank & Bob. Do you guys know how I can get emoticons up. They are enabled but I can't seem to find them. Lol Maybe it's because I'm on a ipad??

  13. Spent a few hours in the shed today. :-) All good practice. Patterns from Steve Good. The ship I will do again. Made plenty of mistakes with this one.
  14. Thanks for the info Steve. Would you mind telling me how you finish your work. What grit and what coating you use on the Balti Birch. ? Many thanks Paul
  15. Stunning work. Regards Paul
  16. Beautiful work.
  17. @courdorygirl & Marg. Many thanks for those great tips. @Kevin. Hope you get out of there soon. Take care. Thanks to all for the brilliant comments. Much appreciated. @Bob. Once again , great patterns. Edit: tried out a bit of lighting. Cheers all. Paul

  19. @Scrappile. I've just had a look at your gallery. Amazing work. Regards Paul
  20. Thanks Scrappile. I must admit I've taken to it like a duck to water. I've also taken up turning on a lathe, equally enjoyable. I took some video today whilst cutting and I have a few questions in the vid. Any tips will be taken on board. Cheers
  21. Thank you Steve, very kind of you. I've only just started scrolling so plenty of room for improvement. ;-))
  22. Hi DW. That's a bit of a coincidence, because straight after cutting the dolphin pattern today I cut this and thought just the same as you about doing the dolphins in plastic.
  23. #Like the Dolphins, like Dolphins can swim.# I came across a post by curtisintarsia and he did this pattern by Bob scroll. I just had to give it a go. I wish it looked like Steves. :-) Great pattern Bob.
  24. Hi Steve. Another beauty. That looks like the same wood you used on the dolphins. Would you mind telling me what wood that is? Many thanks Paul.
