  1. Hi All. This pattern looks brilliant from a distance. Pattern by H. Leslie Simmons.
  2. Thanks for the heads up. It certainly is aromatic. Great aroma. Once again Bob, thanks very much. I really like the font on this one. Hi Steve. Wolfie will love this and Bob has made my day.
  3. Hi All. Here is a pattern I requested and in no time the Maestro Bobscroll came up with this. 😄 I just couldn't wait to get it on the scroll saw. Big thanks to you Bob. My mate Wolfie is going to be over the moon with this. ðŸ‘👠Not sure what wood this is, but it cuts and smells beautiful. Regards Paul
  4. Excellent work. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
  5. WOW!! That is beautiful. I'm definitely going to do another in acrylic. Is the front part acrylic too. ? The base is brilliant. Mine is straight of the printer. I didn't resize. Regards Paul
  6. Hi Kevin. That is fantastic. Did you make the pattern? Or do you order with the name of your choice.
  7. Hi. Fantastic work. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘😉

    Saw.

Thank you all for the kind comments. I hope to get it finished at the weekend. I would like to be finishing it now, but work is getting in the way. 😣😃ðŸ‘

    Saw.

Hi All. Started to prep this tonight so I could start on it tomorrow eve, but just couldn't put it down. 😀 Still got to cut two more parts to thicken up the handle. Another great pattern from Steve good. 6mm ply No5 reverse tooth blade
  14. This forum should get an award for being nice. Top people all of you.ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
  15. Hi Merlin. I'm afraid it doesn't work for me. I cut a pattern today and I do everything with my right hand and I found it just getting in my way. I suppose it is a kind of muscle memory.
  16. Hi Paul. Okey so it is the grey bar. I must admit I've not noticed it getting in the way yet. But I agree it would be nice if the arm assembly would lift a little higher. I cut a pattern today with the bar in place as in the pic above. It didn't work for me. I've not paid attention to it, but I tension and un- tension all with the right hand and the bar was just getting in my way. Lol. Regards Paul
  17. Thank you all for those great comments. ðŸ‘
  18. Hi all. A simple pattern but I'm not happy with the crescent shapes at the sides. Should of taken a little more care to have them flow rather than wavy. No matter how these patterns turn out it's just the most satisfying hobby. 😀 9mm ply No 5 reverse tooth blade. Steve good pattern. Having a bit of a dance. Minus a few digits.
  19. Fantastic scroll work and pattern.ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
  20. Do you use some sort of extension to the scroll saw bed or do you just support with your hand when the wing is over hanging. ?Excellent work. Regards Paul
  21. Superb scroll work.
  22. Thanks Bob. All tips gratefully received.
  23. Excellent scrolling.
  24. Hi Paul. Thanks for your kind words mate. 👠In future I will start a new thread. It's funny that you mention the hold down arm. I've not noticed it getting in the way yet. Another member here (Merlin) mentioned he uses the bar as leverage for the tension handle. Something like this. I must admit I have not looked if there is a specific blade for plastic. I'm now using a Olson reverse tooth no7 & 5. They are great. Very clean cuts back and front. Edit. After reading your post again I now realise that you meant the foot of the hold down gets in the way. I thought you meant just the grey arm. You are absolutely right. The hold down part I imagine would be an absolute pain.
  25. I wasn't sure if it was threaded or push fit. Will probably need a bit of force to loosen. I might leave it so I can attach a small light to it. I did notice your lever. I'm ok with the knurled knob to be honest. All the best. Paul
