  1. OK. I get what you mean.
  2. Hi Barb. Do you mean cut out a shield shape then rout out the centre but not all the way through and then place the cutouts in the recessed area?? If that's not what you meant then please explain, I love all these ideas.
  3. Thanks to All for the brilliant comments. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
  4. They look fantastic. Would like to know the process in making these.
  5. Hi Steve. Very crisp. Excellent cut and beautiful wood.
  6. This was a great pattern to cut out. Big thumbs up to Bob Scroll. ðŸ‘👠I decided to try and place all my pilot holes in a place where I could use the cut parts. I think I need a smaller than a 1.5mm for pilot holes plus I need to work out the better places to drill so it does not show in the cut part. But anyhow it didn't turn out too bad. ðŸ˜‰â˜ºï¸ I just widened the pattern a little. Once I cut the pattern I stacked another piece of ply and one piece of plastic and then cut a 25 degree bevel. Having the plastic at the bottom means that when I put the pattern on the plastic backer I get a nice border. I'm very happy with how this turned out. Great pattern Bob. I will probably mount the cut outs on the ply backer. Big thanks to Bob and all the pattern makers out there. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
  7. Thanks Marg. Get well soon .

Hi Len. The pattern came out on a A4
  9. Nice work Steve. I like the first saying. A mate of mine uses a similar saying but instead of Rodeo he says Barbecue. 😀😜 I'm off to pattern requests to ask Bob.😋😜😀ðŸ‘
  10. Lovely work.
  11. That was part of the pattern.

    Duck.

Hi Marg. I sure will end up putting a frame around them. I want to source a nice simple beading, I could then make my own frames.
  13. Hi Marg. I used this wood on another project that I posted here at SSV. I asked the same question and a member said it could be aromatic Cedar. It certainly smells beautiful when cutting.

I'm all shook up with these wonderful comments. 😋ðŸ‘
  15. Hi Dick. I totally agree with you on this. Big thumbs up to all the pattern makers who make our scrolling days happy ones. BTW. What is Rea lipstick ??
  16. Thank you all for the comments. 👠Hi Edward. He does have super patterns. I do like his Audrey Hepburn. I think I will be doing many more of his patterns. 😀
  17. Hi Roly. Can't seem to find the pen stand from that link. When I use the search it comes up with the one I've cut already. Is there another one. ??
  18. Pattern by wild bill here at Scroll Saw Village. Great pattern Bill ðŸ‘😀( just looked at your profile and see your name is Stefano) This was another enjoyable project. 😄

Having coffee with the King. 😀 I enjoyed cutting this. Great pattern by Travis from here at Scroll Saw Village. ðŸ‘
  20. Great pattern, excellent cutting.
  21. Hi Dick. Great idea. I think you will start getting other departments like the fruit and veg after you now. ðŸ‘
  22. Thank you all for your comments👠Hi Metal. That's kind of what I thought. Very simple pattern but with a little touch of elegance. 😉😀 Hi Kevin. You have got me thinking about the 360 comment. 😉 What I might do is print out a load of base shapes and put them in a flower head shape, like petals in a circle. So let's say 8 bases for the petals and 8 stands and I would end up with a 360 display of pens. This will give me a good excuse to turn a few more pens. 😜😄ðŸ‘
  23. Thanks Jim and Bob. 👠Bob. I think next time I will ask for joined up text. My poor old thumb started getting sore on the knurled quick clamp. 😄😄ðŸ‘
  24. I think I will be doing a few of these. I will try different widths. Pattern from Steve good.
  25. Agreed. Back lit in blue looks fantastic.
