  1. That is very nice cutting, your first one and you master it already. Keep it up they are fun to make.
  2. I used mostly FD ultra reverse from #2 to 7, also have some penguin and polar
  3. I use Tung oil, you can soak the trivet in or brush it on and I take the excess off with air blower. Let dry overnite, used sanding mop lightly, apply another coat, again let dry overnight and if not satisfy repeat one more time. Now another way if you want a shinier finish don,t buff after the first coat just reapply after it is dry, just buff after the 3rd coats, Hope this help

  6. Will go with oak, walnut, cherry any hardwood will do, as far as finish 3 coats of Tung oil whit a little sanding mop 320 or higher in between. Size from 1/2' to 3/4" the smaller the easier for the cut. If you have SWWC magazine issue / 60 fall 2015 you can get free patterns from it, I did them all.

  10. Thanks for nice comments, Some will be put in inventory but will use one of the yin-yan box to put a Pandora charm in it for my wife Christmas present.
  11. Made these boxes this week, couple of Christmas boxes from Sheila Landry and a couple of yin-yan boxes from Steve Good.

  14. I used everything in the scrap box, if I cannot cut bird houses or Christmas ornaments of the pieces in the scrap box, next place is the wood stove.
  15. They are fun to cut and good use of scrap pieces, you can cut them with all kind of wood and they look very good. Another way to use your scraps is 3D bird houses.
  16. The saw will do the work, but you have to get the right blades. Flying Dutchmen has puzzle blades.
  17. This is amazing, the patience, time and also talent that was involved making this art piece is PRICELESS. I would display it at some shows and let some people that appreciate hard work offer you a true value for this project.

  24. Cut a couple of Romanian bowls, and autumn bowls and some Christmas ornaments. I called the Romanian bowl because the pattern is from a Romanian and he gave permission to use it, had to google translation to find out about it. The autumn bowls are from Sheila Landry and the Christmas Ornaments from Steve Good.
