  1. Wow, that's a beautiful clock, nicely finished too. She will love it.
  2. Scott beat me to it, I was going to say two pins and a piece of string you can draw an oval of any size. Scott even put a video of it too.
  3. Excellent work , they will appreciate those. Are they your own design ?
  4. excellent work, I also like the red backer.
  5. No Len, I won't be putting a backer on it . I was asked not to as it stands out perfectly against the colour of her bedroom wall where it will be hung after the communion. Also my son (her dad) is thinking of making a cross shaped light box and fitting this on the front so it shines the cross on the wall. (I'm not sure if that will work though ) Keefie.
  6. My Grandaughter has her first Communion coming up next month so I made this for her. It's made from 6mm birch ply and finished with one coat of sanding sealer and one coat of Lacquer. Hope you like it.
  7. I have to agree with the others, leave it as it is, it looks great and symmetrical isn't always best. Excellent work.
  8. great work on both pieces, they look excellent.

I couldn't afford to upgrade to the high spec Commodore Vic 20 so I had to stick with my Atari ST.

I finished cutting this a few weeks ago for a friend. I would have posted it earlier but apart from a leg infection I have had to get a new computer ands have been trying to get programs to work (without a great deal od success lol) It is cut from 4mm Baltic Birch plywood and finished with one coat of sanding sealer (spray) and 1 coat of cellulose Lacquer. The pattern was made by Mahendra, with one slight modification where I put in little bridges to keep the centre of the Hats rather than cutting them out completely. Thank you Mahendra for a brilliant pattern. All comments welcomed. Keith.
  19. Excellent work, it looks totally awesome
  20. Great save, I actually think it looks better with the inlay.
  21. Hi Triple J, my problem with CorelDraw is that it won't actually install from the disk. It comes up with the error message " Failed to install ISKernel files" then closes the installer package. I don't know if you have any idea's on this? Keefie.
  22. Hi all, I'm back again. If looking after dad then getting an infection in my leg keeping me away wasn't bad enough my computer completely died on me. It wouldn't even start up to the desktop so I've lost most of my pictures and patterns as the main problem was the hard drive was corrupted. I have had to go for a new computer which has windows 10 on it. Now I'm trying to work my way around the new operating system. I haven't tried to load it yet, but I've been told that my copy of CorelDraw 12 won't work on windows 10 and a new copy of the latest version is very expensive ( over £400) I should be back in here more often now I have a working computer (and I can barely hear it too - the old one was very noisy) so I hope to be able to catch up with all that has been going on here. Keefie.
  23. Another project just finished. This was a pattern by Arpop and cut in 4mm birch ply and finished with one coat of sanding sealer then one coat of celulose lacquer. Keith.
  24. Thanks guys for all the coaster patterns you made for me, Eventually I had to do a bit of cutting and pasting as the customer wanted one bit from one pattern then a different bit from another (someone once said the customer is always right - but I'm not so sure !!!) This is what he finally settled for - and I had to make 30 of them. Keefie.
  25. Very nicely cut, looks great
