  1. Custom order - was supposed to be pained black, but after sanding this mystery wood from the Mennonite sawmill's discard pile looked so gorgeous, I couldnt spray it black. It has shades of purple in it. Anybody have any idea what it could be?

  14. I took my first pattern and modified it as a puzzle. Whaddayathink? Poplar untreated color yourself. I should add that I realized how spoiled I am with the Pegas MG blades, as these cut so wonderfully straight. I used Flying Dutchman puzzle blades and had to hold the piece at close to 45 degrees to cut on the line. Very annoying.
  15. That looks great. Thanks for sharing this.
  16. And I got a response and Julie generously sent me the pattern. I could kiss you now, Wayne, but my husband would object.

  24. I am looking to find the designers Fred and Julie Byrne. I found one of their patterns online and I want to legally cut it, i.e. buy it from them. I even bought an old book by them on Amazon, hoping the pattern would be in it. Unfortunately, that did not work out. Does anybody have any ideas? Thanks
