  5. There is this German youtuber, who screws the layers together an countersinks the screw in the bottom so it doesn't stick out. Seems to work great for him. I have done it once, and I like it, but i had too many layers, so my blades kept breaking. Here is one of his videos.

  12. Spent the day in the workshop... Maple and olive wood for the fishes, alder for the mini-wreath, and 2.2 " thick poplar for the arches (that was an adventure - as the top of the blade arm was hitting the wood in spots ;-))

  17. I used Alder wood for the first time on the "Holy Night" and Birchbark's "Peace" and really like how it looks after the oil hits it. Thanks for the pattern Birchbark! Love it!

  23. Three puzzles and one that's not ;-) The Bremen Town Musicians after the fairy tale, was my idea and the pattern was obtained through Iguanadon's connection to Harvey Byler.
