I have enlarged the puzzle I previously made and cut it out of an 2" white oak slab. Approx. 20" wide and 16" high. I personally love it. Walnut oil as usual.

I won first and third price in the 3 D category for my Shakespeare and Madonna & Child pieces at the Juried Art Show in my town. I would be lying if I said I am not proud. Unfortunately the background of Shakespeare wasn't happy with the humidity.

Thanks, Jerry, I am planning on gluing the pieces together into a one solid piece. Hoping the dowels will not be a problem at that time. Or am I overlooking something?

Hi folks, I got me some whiskey barrel lids and I am thrilled. Oak, 1" thick 21" diameter. Held together by dowels so I will glue them up. But then... What can scrollers come up with? I am thinking fretwork? They are 30 years old and I am thrilled to have got them. Thank for your brain matter

Terrible corners with a Harbour Freight saw and round blades... Also no clue about wood, so it's spray painted MDF: The sawdust gave me 6 weeks of bronchitis!

Hubby took it back to DeWalt Factory Store last Monday. Waiting for their verdict on whether they will reimburse my money. Today he picked up my new Excalibur 21. Can't wait to play with it, but have to finish my work for work yet - so much left to do.
