  1. After the cabinet maker donated some huge beautiful panels to my cause, he had some wishes for small items. He just gave me the words - I created the following: Here they are:
  2. I made some more, this time from white oak, partially spalted. Now I am told the spalted can't be used in the kitchen with food. Opinion?

  4. Cutting/Serving Boards Caribbean Rosewood. Since I am close to Music City... I thought why not. The wood was fairly expensive, so just to break even, I would have to charge 10 dollars per board. They are 10 x 7" . Do you think they would sell at a craft show?

  7. Now I enlarged it, to 16". I cannot imagine cutting it in original size. Fiona Kingdon must have incredible patience and a super-steady hand.
  8. As an homage to my late father I made this piece designed by the inimitable Fiona Kingdon. My father was a beekeeper and a carpenter. Thus material and motif are the perfect combination. Alder, 16“ diameter.

  10. bunny and egg. cherry wood. bunny sprayed with copper spray shown in bragging rights.
  11. Made from Cherry and the bunny sprayed with copper crackle. Also a candle holder made from 2 inch purple heart.
  12. So I made this again. And then as I was finished cutting I got this idea that my new bandsaw (Laguna 1412 should be able to double my yield. And so I cut it in half. And now I have two mascots.

  19. Some use for scrapwood. The candle holder is made from greenwood. I suspect it will crack to smitherines soon.

  21. Olive Wood Cross for friend. Ampersand iPad Holder (Cherry on either side of Padauk) for another friend. And Chuck the Beaver for Chuck's Custom Cabinets in my town, who generously called my husband to pick up some cut offs. Twas the least I could do, to give them back a piece of their wood.

  23. Some women get roses. I got: My valentine's bouquet: 7ft. oak slabs, 25" wide, 2 1/4" thick. Yeah!
