  13. This is my first attempt at making a pattern and cutting an animal. I sure realize I have a lot of practice to do before I would consider myself good at it. The eyes and nose was a struggle for me The outside dimention of the frame is 20 1/2" x 17 3/4".

  16. I cut my backer large....most of the time just square...glue it on and use a round over router bit to trim it off. If you use 1/8" backer and a 1/4" round over bit you can't even hardly see it. I usually use the same round over bit on the front. dave

  22. We spend the summer months in Bloomington/Normal and Winter in Texas. I could not resist designing and making this plaque for our Texas home. It is 12" in diameter and 5/8" thick red oak with a walnut inlay stained Special Walnut.
