  1. Looks great Barb!
  2. That is one cool bowl.
  3. I really like the 180 indexing pin on the rack and pinion that the pegas has. I use it a lot. I have had my pegas for about a year and a half now and like it a lot.
  4. I will respectfully disagree on that quote. @Jim Finn has that title by a long shot.
  5. In the past I have done a quilt block on a table saw but it was much larger.. When I did that I could set up stops and could make all the pieces exactly the same. I felt these pieces were way too small to do on a miter or table saw.
  6. Great pattern and cutting.
  7. Nice job! What a great idea.
  8. That is too cute!
  9. That is very cool Alex!
  10. Great looking shop Brenda! So what is the toilet paper in the shop used for?
  11. Awesome job on those. I especially like the eagle. It is supposed to be an eagle isn't it?
  12. Very unique. I just love it.
  13. Great pattern and cutting.
  14. I used a quilt block pattern to make this memory box. It was a lot harder for me than I thought. I cut all the triangles on my scroll saw so there was no way I was able to get them all perfect. I used cedar, poplar, yellow heart, nogal, blue pine and bubinga.
  15. I always top feed when I can. When I'm using a #1 I end up with a hockey stick after about three times. I have tried everything I can think of to solve this problem. If you have a solution please share.
  16. Awesome! You are so talented.
  17. Dick, I know you are buds with Paul. Have you heard anything from him lately? Haven't seen him around.  I messaged him a few days ago and haven't heard anything back. Hoping he is OK.

I called him and everything is going well with him. He told me he just needed a break for a little while and has been busy catching up on yard work and getting things ready for summer. It has been cold there and wet, with some snow and so now there is starting to be some breaks in the weather and he will be back on board when he gets caught up at home. thank you for thinking about him. He is a great man and a good friend.

Thanks a lot Dick. There aren't many days since I have been here that I haven't seen him so I was concerned.

  18. Just checking up on you Paul. Haven't seen you around for a week or so. Hope you are doing well.

Thanks for checking Dave, but I am doing well, hope all is fine with you and yours.  Just decided to cut back on the scrolling and forums for awhile, get things cleaned up and ready for summer.  Weather here for the most part has just to been too good to spend time inside.  I am slowly working on a clock from a plan from finescrollsaw.com.  It is going to be a long term cut. On average I am only spending about 6 hours a week at the saw right now.  When it gets hot I will probably migrate back in the house and more scroll work...

      Stay safe.

      Paul

Glad to hear you are good. I've just been used to seeing you around daily. I understand about other interest.  Anxious to hear how the clock goes. I have been thinking about doing one.  I would be totally bummed if I spent the time and it didn't run.

I went and checked out finescrollsaw.com.  That wasn't the type of clock I was thinking about. I was thinking of the kind that you make the gears and all.  I'm sure your clock will be a big project. Good luck.

  19. Great job Kevin!
  20. Awesome work!
  21. Great pattern and cutting.
  22. Those look great!
  23. Sometimes it takes a failed project now and then to make a fella feel good about the good ones.
  24. Did you make the quilt block? Nice work on the infinity heart.
  25. Great pattern and cutting. Love the different colors.
