  3. I don't consider this "Bragging Rights", but I needed something to fill the time while the glue was drying on another project. I used 3/4" Cherry and FD Polar #7 blades. It stands 6" high. A fun easy project. The pattern is by Judy Peterson and found in her book 'Animal Puzzles for the Scroll Saw'. Comments welcome.
  4. Scrolling for me is a serious hobby. Because of our store, ArtCrafters, I am only able to spend 1 1/2 days per week scrolling. Time spent scrolling is therapy and the joy of seeing others look and handle the items with awe. Several weeks ago, I made a Puppy Coin Back. Friday I gave it to my great grandson only 3 years old. The look one his face was something to behold. All the relatives had fun giving him a coin and watching his reaction to putting it into the bank. It maybe a serious hobby, but very rewarding.

  23. My friend back in MN requested two of these as a fund raiser for the school. DonR came through with a great pattern. This is the first one, I will make the second next week. I used 1/4" Hard Maple plywood and backed with 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood panted black. I also used FD New Spiral #1, UR #1, and Polar #5 blades. The finish is one coat of Shellac sanding sealer and two coats of spray Shellac. Comments welcome.
