  1. Way cool on that VW bug.
  2. I scan the image into Phtoshop Elements. In the print preview box there is the option to enlarge to any size then print. The project I worked on today was enlarged by 15%. I drew a line down the center and printed two parts.
  3. Hope you get your saw back up and running.
  4. Welcome to the forum from TN. Show some pictures of your scrolling soon.

  10. Wow, thanks for all the nice comments. I am pleased at how it turned out.
  11. I should say, gluing and sanding. The spindle sander really got a workout.
  12. Thanks Dick. I thought the same with shipping.
  13. Thanks Ron. I can't believe how much gluing to the project.
  14. Not sure about cranking them out, but when having fun scrolling, why not.
  15. I was not to sure about the walnut, but it turned out nice with the grain. The red oak was a piece in the pile that fit.
  16. Thanks for the comments. I have to qualify, he is my granddaughter's son, so that makes him a great grandson. Boy do I feel OLD.
  17. While making the 'Puppy Coin Bank' there was a lot of gluing and waiting, so I made this 'Grey Wolf' pattern by Jacob Fowler. The project is found in CWWC March 2008. It is approximately 8" in diameter not including the base. I use 1/2" Walnut and 3/4" Red Oak. The blades were FD New Spiral #2/0, UR #1, and Polar #5. There is one coat of sanding sealler and two coats of spray Shellac. The upright fits the slot perfectly, so there is no need for gluing. Comments welcome.
  18. I saw this in SWWC Spring 2017 issue #66 and just had to make it. This will be a gift for our 3 year old great grandson. I will have to make another one for our soon to be born great granddaughter. The pattern is by Paul Meisel and I purchased the parts from his website. I used 3/4" Pine and FD Polar #5 blades. There is one coat of sanding sealer and two coats Shellac. Comments welcome.
  19. Actually, the rings are cut separately. They are intertwined when assembled.
  20. A truly beautiful box. I can see the hours spent on that project.
  21. Very well done. A work of art.
  22. Go for it Dick.
  23. Well done, nice clean cuts.
  24. Thanks for the comments. I am still not sure how to handle this.
  25. Pictures may explain it better than words. The rings have a slot section with small cuts to fit into the ring holder. Dan also asked for a side view. I hope these pictures help.
