  2. An Alex Fox Pattern C-03. I enlarged the pattern by 30% to fit 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood 10" square. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #1 MGT blades. Entry holes drilled with Grobet #68 HSS Twist Drill Bits. Finish is two coats spray Lacquer Clear Gloss with sanding on the Mac Mop between coats. Comments welcome.

  11. The Bass Puzzle is finished. The pattern by Harvey Blyer. I enlarged the pattern to fit 3/4" Poplar 8" square. Cut on the Pegas Scroll Saw using Pegas #3 MGT blades and #5 MGT blades for the veining. Sanded with a Mac Mop, dipped in diluted Shellac, and again a light sanding. Comments welcome.

  19. Thanks Ralph. Basswood was a little too soft for me. I now prefer #6 Super Skip for compound cutting.

  21. Thanks Griz. Yes, when I need something fun, this is what I cut.
  22. Thanks Rodney. I cut four birds on a stock 3/4" x 3/4" x 6". This allows better control with my fingers.
