  1. Harvey being Amish, I wondered what he'd think when I called him and said I needed a pattern that says SHITBOX... He chuckled and told me to send him the photo/design. LOL And to clarify, Harvey is not taking on any brand new designs right now, but is still happy to do custom names within existing patterns.
  2. Yes sir, still going strong. I was fortunate to have my local weekly market this year but all of my big events of course were cancelled.
  3. Thanks. Harvey draws cropped and uncropped versions of several breeds... Great Dane, Pit Bull, Boxer, Doberman, etc.
  4. I had a customer give me a bit of a challenge asking for a double dog leash holder... It came out pretty nice if I do say so myself. And an example of a "typical" one also a custom order this past Saturday.
  5. Wow, ordered it Thanksgiving day and it arrived today... 5 days ahead of when it said it would arrive. Well, it's just gonna sit until I wear out my current one which is a year old. Normally I wear them out every 15 months or so, but since I only did half the sales of usual this year due to Covid, maybe this one will last a little longer.
  6. Normally $505, on sale for $379 at Amazon. Does not include base or light. I just ordered one to have when I wear out my current one in a few months.
  7. Started out slow and I was a bit concerned, but ended the day equal to what I did at the same event 2 years ago. Last year was amazing and must have been an anomaly. LOL See how it goes at the same location next Saturday.
  8. A couple played with them. I only sold 1. It gets people standing at the booth and helps draw people in though.
  9. Just braggin' about my view today. LOL First of 3 holiday events in a row. Week 1 was solid. Week 2 at the same place next Saturday. Week 3 just up the road and then done for the year. Fortunate to have had my local markets this year while all of my big events were cancelled.
  10. It's sort of like Lipton's French Onion Soup Mix... who actually uses it for soup instead of French Onion dip? LOL
  11. I think they may be the same Frank. Check the fine print on the label of one of your rolls if you have one still with the label and you may see Duck on it somewhere.
  12. Hey Ike, for me it's easier to use... lay it on a 6' board, spray adhesive on it to mount the patterns and after cutting it peels right off with no residue. Quick and simple. Here's a video I did a little while back... https://youtu.be/LPjY8lEnAA4
  13. I may behind the curve, but in case others look for the Duck brand shelf liner, it's back at Amazon at the price of $5.84 a roll. I noticed it available at Walmart a couple days ago at the same price and ordered 12 rolls, being delivered today. Prior to that I was having to get it from Michael's online, but they've quit carrying... It's a moving target at times finding it at all and/or at the right price, so I wanted to be sure to mention it. I stockpile it every time I find it just in case it jumps back up to $8.64 a roll everywhere. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002AS9NC6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share&fbclid=IwAR2sNQY2hHzBKvz_jiMwVp2_yPg0C5n7w0M6nOadY0pchQZ-5_17eDMpePU For any newbies who may not be familiar with how many scrollers use it, I did a video... https://youtu.be/LPjY8lEnAA4
  14. I did receive my Ortur a couple of weeks ago and I assembled it last weekend and got it working. I have a lot to learn though. LOL I tried the free trial of Lightburn and found it too complex for my needs so now I'm trying LaserGRBL or whatever its called. But I haven't had the time to really focus on playing and learning. I've gotten it to burn text as well as some of my images for my golf tee games so I know I have a working machine.
  15. A lot has changed in just the 6 years we've been here. Fabulous place. And yes, Cape Fear River is part of the Intracoastal Waterway.
  16. Very nice. I'm guessing I'll build a couple new stands over the winter... now a matter of how I do it. LOL
  17. Took a little time off today and played with a new toy... Here is a 360 degree tour of my town shot from 300ft above my house. Ocean on one side, river on the other.
  18. I have a used saw on hand as an emergency backup. Definitely consider buying a used one or this one on sale so you can do a quick swap out if you plan on doing events on a regular basis. Nothing is worse than being in full production mode and having a breakdown.
  19. It's great to have another puzzle zombie in the cult. Congrats on the positive experience and I can imagine the smile on your face. Have fun with it!
  20. You did get me thinking though... could hinges be used under the shelves to attach to the risers so that the entire thing could simply be unlatched, then collapse by "pushing" or laying the shelves over/down... Hmmmm....
  21. I use a hammer on spiral blades to crush them into tiny balls, then burn them, then bury them. DEEP. They are pure evil and I don't want them coming back to life.
  22. Hey Charley, that's what this is showing and shown in the video. Or do you have an additional idea that I'm not understanding?
  23. I have 3 tiered displays that I built a couple of years ago that work great at events as you can see in the photo of my booth. They are bulky though and transporting was a bit of a nuisance. I asked if anyone knew of foldable/collapsible ones and @OzarkSawdust actually took on the challenge and adapted my design and sent me a video of his work a couple of months ago. I thought I'd rebuild my displays this winter using his method, then realized I could adapt the ones I have, as a test if nothing else. Here is the result... Fantastic. Not nearly as nice as Ozark's version, but definitely proved to be something I want to do. Will save me some space and be less bulky. And here is his video.
  24. So, we have dinner with another couple every Monday evening and I brought puzzles for everyone to try out. Starting with a completed one is rather quickly unassembled but re-assembly is basically impossible so that will be the challenge... I'll have one sitting there assembled and one that is the 3 pieces and the sign will say "CHALLENGE! If you can assemble the 3 piece puzzle as shown within 2 minutes, you will WIN ONE FOR FREE. However, if you fail, you must purchase one. Good Luck!" I also created this video today and put it on my website where you can order them for those that need assistance. I'll mention it to everyone that purchases one.
