    I had a spare 3 minutes on my hands and started looking for simple type puzzle/brain teasers and came across this one from Steve Good and made one... It's pretty cool. I think I'll put 2 out on display at my upcoming holiday event, one completed, one in pieces and a sign "If you can solve in under 1 minute, you WIN one, but if you don't solve it, you must BUY one" They have a choice of assembling or disassembling. First I need to master it. LOL

    @kmmcrafts Well, the Ortur does cut faster... a lot faster... 3 minutes by one person and 5 minutes by another for the sea turtle, same size. Looks like I'll be buying an Ortur. LOL

    I can't imagine these things will remain popular among my customer base for long, so I'm hesitant to invest a lot into something for an item that I sell for $7.50 or $10 each... The cutting of the triangles, drilling and sanding take very little time per piece, it's the laser engraving that drags on. I trained my wife on it as she can go back and forth to the garage every 15-20 minutes and set up another one.

    Yeah, that's my concern and some items I do the fine detail is amazing with the NEJE. I've found 2 people willing to do a test for me on their Ortur's, I'll see how they look and the elapsed time.

    BRANDY would take about 15+ minutes on my current laser and the sea turtle is around 19 minutes. The detail and quality is fantastic, so I'm very happy with the laser, but when I have 50 golf tee games to do, it takes way too much time. I have found someone with the Ortur and he's going to do a test of the sea turtle for me and let me know how long it takes.

    I use a laser engraver for engraving names and other small scale stuff with a very basic laser that does a great job.     Nicely done. One of my puzzle zombies (OzarkSawdust) took my idea/thought about a folding version and built one. He sent me a video and I plan on making a couple over the winter and I'll share. Here is his video if anyone is curious in the meantime.

    Hey Don, I've been very impressed with the quality of the end product from a simple $190 laser. The one drawback is the speed. Depending on the image or the amount of lettering it can take 10-15 minutes. That being said though, they have a new motherboard for my laser that will cut the speed in half or even one third and it only costs $49. I'm on the waiting list to get one to try it out. Mine is the NEJE Master 3500.     I've been getting orders like crazy for custom wording, business logos, etc. And now that I'm getting more comfortable with doing images with the laser engraver, these will be the new "standard" set I'll offer for my beach town and any others that I do events at in the future. I have 3 holiday markets in Nov/Dec so I'll be sure to have plenty on hand. Just more silly Iggy whackiness.

    I'm catching up on this threat... 3M77 is EVIL, almost as evil as spiral blades! It's crazy sticky. I use 3M45 along with the shelf liner.

    Now if just one of them would make me rich!!! LOL I'm training my wife today on using the laser, she'll be in charge of engraving. I may have another order for 150 coming in... a giveaway by a company that is sponsoring a golf tournament... what a great little item for that... Golf Tee game.

    Fortunately, using a sliding miter saw to cut them so it's very quick. I have orders for 100 of them already. Cutting is quick, drilling isn't too bad, it's the laser engraving that takes up the most time. I'll have to start looking at the next level up in lasers.

    I tell ya, I'm quite impressed with my inexpensive laser... even the tiny fine print is readable... Orders from businesses... MMC Insurance is sponsoring a golf tournament... she's thinking of ordering 150 of these for the participants. In addition to the 50 she wants to give to clients.

    Oh Marg, you poor deprived woman... LOL It's just a simple puzzle game. Start with one empty space To jump a tee, it must have an empty space next to it. You can use any tee as a jumper, as long as the tee you jump is directly next to it and has an open space. Every tee you jump is removed until you can’t make any more jumps. 4 or More Tees Left – Average 3 Tees Left – Above Average 2 Tees Left – Excellent! 1 Tees Left – MASTER!
