    It took me awhile to figure it out, but yeah, you can. Makes it great for when you're wanting to print on 11x18" paper.

    Finally finished this pattern and cutting. I got permission from a friend to use their photo. I finally got the pattern finished and cut out. I found a few adjustments that need to be made to the pattern, and will share it here when I get those made. Cut out of oak ply, and finished with a couple coats of poly. Will make a frame for it when I get a chance.

    I bought one of the earlier versions and it was, by far, the worst computer program I've ever tried to use. Started using Gimp, and really like it. Plus, Gimp is free.

    I guess I haven't measured the distance from the table to the clamp when its completely down, but most of what I do is 3/16"-1/2" thick, so that hasn't been an issue at all. I've cut thicker stuff on my old saw, and, in my opinion, if you're going to go thicker than 1.5", you should probably be using a bandsaw.

    I've had my JET for about 6 months as well. I love it. It's a very smooth running machine, and the upper clamp is a dream to operate. It is nice to be able to have 2 or 3 blades loaded and ready to go. Until I switched, I didn't realize how antiquated my old Delta really was. I really enjoy how the upper arm lifts out of the way when trying to stab a blade into a new hole. I can't tell you about other saws, but for me, the JET was well worth the money.

    I got the patterns from Scrolleronline.com. So, unfortunately I don't know that the fonts are, and neither the pattern or the site give anyone any credit for the design. It simply says the design is copyrighted to Scroller.

    That's the way I've understood it. I usually try to make sure I'm going to be around the house for awhile when I start spraying poly. It usually only takes 15-20 minutes for it to set up enough for another coat. And I can do something else while waiting on it.

    I've been getting a lot of interest in the Montana, and other state Wall Hangings. I was able to add a few options. I got the patterns from the Scroller catalog. It doesn't say who did the pattern for them. But so far have sold a few of each and have a couple of new orders lined up! I've also been getting offers to do other states.

    I face the same issue many of you do. Distance is a huge factor in starting any sort of woodworking club. I know of a older, retired guy about an hour away who scrolls, and then there's the gentleman here in the Village from Minot, ND, about 3 hours away. Those are the closest scrollers I'm aware of. I'd be interested in a club as far as being able to learn from others. For now, I just try to keep trying new things while still making something someone else would want.
