  1. Thanks Scott. I have enjoyed cutting the puzzles I have gotten. I got a special one made and I have one of them cut but I need to get a picture of it to share here. Maybe after this weekend once my Daughter's VB season and career end's - at least one or two more matches to go.

  3. Looks great Kevin and a great message to share. Do you remember where you got the pattern?
  4. Thanks Wayne. Look forward to seeing it. I appreciate you taking the time to do that.
  5. Hello Paul and welcome to the Village from East Tennessee in the USA. My family had the pleasure of visiting Scotland several years ago. Enjoyed it immensely. So glad you found the village. You mentioned looking to see pics of others work - you can check out the gallery and find people's work there. Then, many share things in the "Bragging Rights" section regularly. Also check out the general area and the new patterns sections for work and patterns shared. Once patterns are shared there, they are regularly moved to the Pattern Library. Both the Gallery and the Pattern Library can be found via tabs on the top of the forum (upon how you are accessing it - computer, phone, iPad, it may be slightly different.)
  6. Ok, mine are done and are being sent off to Travis as we speak. While I'm not a designer either - I enjoy the challenge of trying. Hopefully they work. I hope 9 more people will give it a try!
  7. Thanks Travis I was just wondering about this the other day and started to ask. I will see if I can come up with some new ideas.
  8. That would be great. Look forward to seeing more. Thanks.
  9. These are beautiful Wayne. Can you give a Newbie like myself some more "details" on how one goes about making a bracelet? Or at least how you are doing it? Details/photos would be appreciated. I mainly ask because it think it would be great gifts to make for family perhaps. Thanks for sharing these.
  10. Awesome work Lawson. I love those crosses but haven't been willing to give one a try yet. Maybe some day. Thanks for sharing yours.
  11. Beautiful looking box Dave. Thanks for sharing.

  13. Beautiful work and wood Jim. Thanks for sharing.
  14. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing. Len, I hope that they can figure out your vision problem and pray it will clear up for you soon.
  15. Another Tennessee welcome. Look forward to seeing more of your work and having you participate here in the Village.
  16. Thanks everyone. I appreciate your kind words and encouragement.
  17. Thanks everyone for your kind comments. Lawson, if you ever want my pattern, let me know I would be happy to share with you. Congratulations to your granddaughter and her team on their 4th place finish at State. That is quite an accomplishment. My daughter's high school made it several times but never won the state title until her Senior Year in high school. It was a great motivator for her and her teammates just getting there. I hope they continue to work hard and do well. Yes, I am very proud of her both for her on the court and off the court academic success. She is a stellar student and is presently applying to Physical Therapy schools which will be another 3 years of training beyond her college.
  18. What a great use of the scrap pile. They look great. Thanks for sharing.

  23. Hello Brian and welcome to the Village from East TN. We have several members here from Canada. I hope you will join us regularly and join in and share some of those works of art you have crafted. We all started somewhere. Myself, I just started about a year and a half ago when I decided to learn Intarsia work and found this forum. The members here and at the SSWC forums have been so welcoming and so much help with their encouragement and praise for my newbie attempts. I have already expanded from the Intarsia work into trying other types of projects thanks to everyone here. Thank you for your service to your Country and the world. I look forward to seeing your projects. Are you also wanting to do Intarsia like your dad in addition to other scrolling? Please show us some of his work as well.
  24. Hi Charles and welcome to the Village from East TN. Be sure to join in on the conversations and show us some of your work soon. We look forward to your participation here.
  25. Too many stories to tell.
