  1. Glad we were able to help. You did a great job on cutting it out. Thanks for showing.
  2. Lawson, I am sorry you had to spend Christmas in the hospital, but at least it was discovered and you are finding the ways to improve the health concerns. I know it is life altering with the diet changes and such but diabetes can be controlled with effort. That is the good news. Prayers said for your health and for your wife.
  3. Nice work to bring back fond memories for your wife. I am sure she was very appreciative. Thanks for sharing.
  4. I e work. Perhaps you could modify the pattern to handle those square bottles.

  8. Russell - thank you for all the work you did to craft this pattern. I watched its development last year as you all progressed through it. I know it has taken a lot of time and effort on your part to create the pattern and for Don to cut and create one. He did a fabulous job with your pattern. I've added a clickable link to the discussion and pattern info. that Russell provided above: https://www.scrollsawvillage.com/forums/topic/31960-looking-for-christmas-reindeer-pattern/#comments
  9. Brenda, I have cut many of these puzzles and I have seen all the projects you have cut and shown here, trust me, they are NOT beyond your skill level. they are however addicting,
  10. Nice work. I’m sure it was difficult cutting such a long piece. I have not tried one yet. Thanks for explaining how you did it.
  11. That is beautiful Don and they will no doubt love it! is this the pattern Birchbark was working in making last year or so ago?
  12. Hi Bill and welcome to the village from East Tennessee. Nice work. Congratulations on your new Saw. Look forward to your participation.

  16. Great to hear Les. Continued prayers for smooth sailing and you are back in the shop soon, 2 weeks will get you through the holiday madness, so relax and enjoy.
  17. Good reasons she loves your work Kevin, it’s always top notch. Glad she is a good repeat customer who pays you. Hope you are feeling better.
  18. Nice cutting you have done. Thanks for showing.
  19. Nice work. Always great to find that pattern that makes you want to run out to your Saw and get to work.
  20. Thanks again everyone for the kind comments. They were quick and easy to cut for sure. Something I was interested in. Thanks Kevin. Pattern didn’t include one for Nod, maybe we need to create one. Scott, that nativity Intarsia is on my list of things I want to do. I think that is the pattern Rolf had shown he had done from the magazine that peeked my interest, then when I looked there were a couple more like this one I was interested in doing.
  21. Thanks for all of your kind comments. I think it was the whimsy element that appealed to me. @Denny Knappen working with the Unicorn Spit was really no different then paints in general although the lore you dilute it, the more it is more like a stain. I tried some different strengths of dilution on some scraps and decided I really preferred the darker more vibrant color which I used here. With that, I just used a bit of water to wet the brush.
  22. Ditto on Denny’s comments. Glad it all went so well for you.
  23. Nice work all around, really like Santa.
  24. Nice work. Grandpa is going to love it too.
  25. Ditto. Something to look forward to for sure. Like a kid on Christmas Eve.
