    Hello!

Another Tennessee welcome to the Village. Glad you have joined us and look forward to your participation. Nice work. I have cut that giraffe puzzle. You did good with it.
  5. Another Tennessee welcome to the Village. Sorry to hear of your health issues. Look forward to having you participate here in the Village.
  6. Lots of great work you have showing there Roly. Glad you had a good day. Hope yo have lots more.
  7. Beautiful work by you both. Thanks for showing.
  8. I agree, beautiful indeed. Thanks foe showing.
  9. Glad to hear you did do a little better then last year. Good luck with the next one coming up.
  10. Travis - I’m in again this year. Hope we can beat the 11 folks who provided some last year.
  11. Beautiful job. I too struggle with those tab joints, which is probably why I didn’t download this project even though I liked it.
  12. What a great tribute and beautiful work you have crafted and should be good sellers and raising funds. Having different cancers in my extended family, I know the horrible sides of that disease. While watching any family member fighting it is difficult, I can only imagine how much more so it is when it is a child. Prayers said for her family.
  13. Nice work. “ piggy banks” used to be made to look like a pig thus how they came to be named “piggy bank.” Some use the name to refer to any and all small banks like these even when not actually a pig shape. Others would just refer to it as a “bank” without the piggy. No matter what it’s called, it looks nice. Thanks for showing.
  14. Boy Kevin, you sure are burning the midnight oil. Good to see you feeling well and getting lots of time on your saw. Excellent work as always. Thanks for sharing.
  15. Always good to see what you are up to Kevin. You noted you cut 16 of each. What thickness of wood did you use? How many did you stack cut at once? Is it Baltic Burch or some other wood?
  16. Umm, when is housework ever an “inviting option”? I go with Kevin’s @kmmcrafts logic and explain it is Halloween decorations and note I celebrate Halloween most of the year. Nice work on it Brenda. I think I would get too cross eyed
  17. Excellent time spent playing Kevin. We all need to spend more time playing. Thanks for sharing.
  18. You have been busy Pete. Guess weather has not been conducive for golfing. Nice work all around.
  19. You might check with @Denny Knappen who is a member here in the Village and who has a shop and who has recently noted that he has become a distributor of the Pegas Saw. One thing I would check is whether the place you order it from "stock" them (i.e. they are shipped to them first) or if they are all dropped shipped directly from Pegas. I don't know the answer to this. Denny can probably answer that question or Bob with Pegas. If they are all drop shipped them I would say shipping time would all be the same. If some are drop shipped and some are carried in stock, shipping time might vary. Good luck with getting it. I hear good things about it so hopefully you will love it too.
  20. Like you, I have seen that article and some others where Corian has been used. (CNC projects too.) I would like to try it too, but haven't attempted to track down any pieces yet. As Scott noted, probably going to have to check with home builder/remodelers to see if they have any you can get. Really wish when the magazine published an article like that they had a source you could obtain the media from listed.
  21. Welcome to the Village from East Tennessee. Glad you joined in and look forward to your participation. As already noted, questions are not a bother - that is how we have all learned - asking others for the wisdom and knowledge they have gained ahead of us. Usually, if you have a question, there is someone else lurking who has it too but are afraid to ask.
  22. Looks like it was a win win for everyone. Shop looks great.
  23. Thanks for showing yours. I’ve been cutting some. Had been thinking of Trying some with stain or paint similar to yours, but hadn’t been brave enough to try it. (Didn’t want to mess one up after cutting it out. )
  24. Nice work. Thanks for showing.
  25. I haven’t used the Pegas Saw. I do have one of the first Seyco saws that came out so have been using it for a while, I have been very happy with my Seyco. My previous experience before my Seyco was a Dewalt and then a used Excalibur that I had bought from Seyco, the customer service I have had from Seyco with both of the saws was great. You can put the Pegas blade holders on the Seyco or other brands. I have kept the Excalibur along with my Seyco in part because it will give me more tilt should I need it. I confess though I have yet to “need” it for that. I do prefer being able to tilt the blade rather than the table like you have to do on the Dewalt. I have only seen good things on the Pegas Saw so I don’t think you can go wrong with either one of them. You just have to decide which one makes sense to you, for the cost you want to pay and go for it and then, don’t second guess yourself.
