  1. You have done a beautiful job of cutting on a wonderful pattern.
  2. Great job Wayne. Very nice. Dimensions?
  3. My art department used thousands of #11 Xacto blades. They threw the dull ones in empty pop cans. A bare blace in a waste basket could raise havoc the a hand looking for something. Scroll Saw blades can do similar.
  4. I like the idea also. Since I use the test tube style tubes with caps I think I will try some red coffee stirrers. They can be cut to the length of the blades and will fit in the tube. If I have more than one used blade of the same type, one needs to be tossed. I like all this thinking out of the box.
  5. When I had an art department I would insist the artists use their 3M 77 out in the warehouse and spray into a large carton. Makes a mess. I spray it into a garbage can in the garage.
  6. The one I tried was a black model on the factory stand. A fairly large saw and stand. Would be crowded in my small shop. Nice machine though.
  7. I have to check. I think my Hawk has a cast aluminum table. Have to check with a magnet.
  8. Welcome Nathan. Yep, the scrolling bug is intensive. I have nearly forsaken all my other hobbies for scrolling. You'll like it here.
  9. Very nice and innovative too.

  17. Great pattern, great cutting.
  18. I don't have an Ex, but I had the opportunity to try one a couple of weeks ago. I thought my Hawk was smooth, but holy smokes, that Ex was nearly perfectly vibration free. I did not try it but I'm sure the nickle would stand on edge at full speed. I was IMPRESSED!
  19. Welcome to the Village Shane. I've not been here too long but everything I've learned about scrolling I've learned here.
