  1. I think these are downloaded. I went as far as I could go without buying and shipping didn't come up.
  2. Does that include what looks like drywall screws in the hub? I have heard wheels are hard to make but if this one is just for show and won't have to carry a load it might make it easier.
  3. Very nice Rob.
  4. Dan those machines can be a pain sometimes. I glad you hung in there till you got it fixed. Can't wait till you finish your box. I got to see it.
  5. Hawkeye style!!! Randy you sure are in trouble.
  6. Katie what you say makes since so I will go along with you. Right now it seems I cut on both sides of the line and every once in awhile I hit the center. I have got to get better. Like I have said before "y'all make it look easy". PS - I am having fun.
  7. Can't help you with your saw problem but I can tell you I have fished Tims Ford lake a bunch. I really enjoyed going there. PS - I made a boo boo. I see your are not from Winchester, Tennessee. If you were you would like fishing Tims Ford lake.
  8. Wayne I emptied my cache and it worked. Thanks! I have not heard of doing this before but then I don't know much about these things.
  9. This forum is slower to load than it used to be it seems. This forum is the only place I have noticed this. Have y'all noticed this?
  10. Matt I have heard that also and I am sure it will work.
  11. Bill I just got the EX 16 and I agree about the dust collection. In fact I took mine off. Other than that I really like the EX.
  12. I made a small spray booth. It's about 20" X 20" and has a cheap window fan that I bought at Wal-Mart in the back. The fan pulls the over spray through a 20 X 20 furnace filter. The filter collects the spray solids but not the fumes. I also have another fan on to keep the air moving in my work shop. When I can I go outside and spray paint. I have a place set up outside to paint. I use the city garbage can.
  13. I agree Denny. I sure appreciate you suggesting them. I will be buying from them again that is for sure.
  14. I got my order from Ocooch Hardwoods yesterday and look what I got. I think UPS drop shipped it from about 20,000 feet up. I sent Ocooch an email with pictures and they replied saying they would ship the damaged replacement boards quickly. Would you believe from the picture that there was only three damaged boards out of 22 ordered. I was surprised.
  15. The one I made per the video I posted works really good on outside edges. I also make some using popsicle sticks and spray glue. There is a lot of ways to skin a cat. PS - The ones I make with popsicle sticks I only hand sand with them.
  16. Don't let painting your house get to you Paul. Hang in there.
  17. I think I might have something that might help you. It's a YT video in four parts and it's long but it might help you repair your 788.
  18. I am not trying to sand the fuzzy's isn't what I am concerned with. I am sanding where I didn't cut straight or didn't get a smooth cut. Most of you guys have been cutting so long you forgot about doing this. I found a guy on You Tube that showed how to make a scroll saw sanding belt. I made one and it works great. I wasted my money buying the Olson belts. Steve Good also had a video but when I made it I wasn't very happy. Here is a link to the video of the one I liked.
  19. Dan what you posted is the problem and I know it but I am learning and it will take time before I get that good. Until then I will have to do the sanding. The brand of belts are Olson just Google it and you will see several venders selling them.
  20. I ordered a few this mourning did I waste my money? I guess I will see if they will work. I was wondering if any of y'all have tried them?
  21. I am going to wait till December to cut it. I want to get more experience first.
  22. Rob first of all I really like this cutting you did but I think I like the wood better. I have been following your post on using Rimu so I Googled it this mourning. I can see why your country has limited the harvesting of this tree.
  23. The Christmas project I am working on is made of MDF and it really needs a primer. The parts that have been cut with the scroll saw will soak up what ever finish you put on it. This clock I made is made of 100% MDF and I had to put more than one coat of primer on the cut or routed edges.
  24. "" Work smarter not harder""
  25. Thank you very much. I have several cans of Rust-Oleum 2X clear gloss plus more of the 2X paint. I really like it.
